Essential Job Functions:
Work directly with children.
Responsible for the safety and well-being of campers.
Actively contribute to positive guest experiences.
Deliver STEM-filled, educational programs to summer campers.
Develop curriculum for each camp.
Introduce program participants to a variety of species.
Represent the Zoo in a positive manner by maintaining a positive attitude and delivering exceptional customer service.
Serve as a team player in the Education Department by supporting the department's goals.
Communicate with families before and after camp.

Preferred Talents and Qualifications:
Experience facilitating or teaching youth in an education setting or related experience preferred.

This is a part-time, permanent position. This is a great opportunity for an artist who would like to be able to offer classes, but does not have their own studio space to do so.
We are looking for instructors who:

Compensation:

Duration:
Classes are two hours in length.
The goal of each class is for students to leave with a finished drawing or painting.
Certification:
All Grumbacher art instructors who teach classes at Michaels must become certified through Grumbacher.
