Course Description
Investigation into specific facets of security in aviation. Physical and procedural controls, regulations of the Department of Homeland Security, the Transportation Security Administration, the Federal Aviation Administration and ICAO, as well as international treaties. Current threats, counter terrorism measures, new technologies in the field and the importance of the aviation industry, both passenger and cargo, to the global economy.

The Group Fitness Instructor will lead members, in a group environment, through a pre-arranged format of exercises designed to enhance overall fitness, strength, and endurance, while ensuring that the safety of the members is not compromised. The Group Exercise Instructor will also serve as a resource to educate members on various aspects of fitness.
Additional Responsibilities:
Make sure that class begins and ends promptly. If necessary, make adjustments to the flow of the class to ensure adherence to the schedule.
If the Group Exercise Instructor is teaching the last class of the day, please follow proper closing procedures as outlined by the Group Exercise Director for the individual facility.
In the event that a Group Exercise Instructor cannot fulfill a scheduled class, it is his/her responsibility to find a qualified/approved substitute and notify the Group Exercise Director if there is a problem finding a substitute.
Group Exercise Instructors must be dependable and consistent in their class schedules. Anyone committing to teach a class should make all arrangements so that substitutes or cancellations are a rare occurrence.
Attend all required staff meetings as necessary.
Ensure that proper time recording procedures are followed correctly and in a timely manner.
Prepare any incident and/or witness reports as necessary in the event of accidents.
Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards his/her responsibilities, fellow employees, and members.
Promote Company as much as possible.
Qualifications & Requirements:
At least six months teaching in a group exercise format.
Knowledge of safe exercise techniques and group exercise principles.
Knowledge of basic physiology and body mechanics.
Performance of a variety of exercise routines.
Positive and effective interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to operate and troubleshoot audio equipment.
Instructors having a specialized skills such as Yoga, Pilates, Body Pump, Body Attack, etc. must provide verifiable proof of education.
Minimum of 6 months teaching in a group environment.
Group fitness certification by ACE, AFAA, ACSM
Current CPR certification and basic first aid training are required.

The UPRT Instructor is responsible for delivering high-quality Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT), including spin training, in accordance with the approved Training Course Outline as outlined in the Skyborne Airline Academy Training Manual. This position involves both ground and in-aircraft instruction, with a primary focus on safety, regulatory compliance, student engagement, and performance tracking.
The role ensures the safe and effective execution of flight training duties while maintaining full regulatory compliance with company and national authority standards. The instructor will also support training record documentation, lesson preparation, and continuous instructional development.
Flight Operations and Safety
Maintain operational and safety oversight of aircraft, passengers, and cargo from engine start through shutdown.
Conduct pre-flight planning, weather assessments, and familiarization with regulations, destinations, alternates, and escape routes.
Execute safe command of aircraft and enforce safety protocols in all phases of flight.
Evaluate and mitigate risks, including refusal of boarding to individuals posing safety threats (e.g., under influence of drugs or alcohol).
Ensure adherence to all checklists, operating procedures, and airworthiness standards.
Verify pre-flight inspections, fuel/oil sufficiency, and proper implementation of manufacturer-approved procedures.
Monitor weather and operational conditions throughout flight.
Report equipment unserviceability, flight irregularities, or emergency deviations in compliance with aviation authority regulations.
Instructional Delivery and Student Development
Prepare and deliver ground and flight instruction in UPRT and spin recovery, as assigned to both U.S. (CFI candidates) and UK (integrated course) students.
Provide pre-flight and post-flight briefings to trainees.
Maintain currency in UPRT techniques, company procedures, and regulatory guidance.
Conduct accurate student evaluations, monitor progress, and recommend remedial action where needed.
Ensure lesson-specific preparation, clear communication of objectives, and student comprehension.
Deliver instruction in accordance with the published training schedule and maintain on-time performance.
Complete all required training documentation, student records, and administrative reporting promptly.
Compliance and Professional Conduct
Maintain current instructor qualifications, completing standardization and recurrent training as scheduled.
Enforce trainee compliance with safety procedures and flight rules.
Ensure proper briefing on emergency procedures and use of safety equipment, including parachutes when applicable.
Report any inadequacies in aircraft or facilities to management.
Ensure proper documentation and validity of flight plans and related materials.
Collaborate with the CFI, Safety Manager, and Operations Control in all matters of safety, compliance, and training improvement.
Qualifications
FAA or EASA Certified Flight Instructor (CFI/CFII), or equivalent UPRT qualification.
Demonstrated experience delivering UPRT and spin training in a high-performance, single-engine aircraft.
Strong understanding of applicable aviation regulations (FAA/EASA), flight safety principles, and instructional methodology.
Excellent communication, evaluation, and organizational skills.
Ability to assess student performance objectively and deliver constructive feedback.

Develop CAT simulator curriculum, establish performance metrics, and track trainee hours across seven types of heavy equipment.
Integrate simulator-based training with classroom instruction to reinforce practical skills and readiness. Guide daily classroom instruction, introduce guest speakers, manage classroom engagement, and provide expert input and coaching.
Enforce safety protocols in compliance with OSHA regulations, project standards, and institutional policies.
Monitor and document trainee progress; offer one-on-one coaching and intervention strategies to support certification and employment goals.
Deliver targeted mentorship and personal development support for at-risk trainees to improve outcomes and program retention.
Coordinate with staff and employers to support job placements, hiring events, and industry partnerships that promote trainee employment.
What will you contribute?
High school diploma (or equivalent) plus eight years related experience OR an Associates Degree in a related technical field plus six years related experience is required.
Proven ability to deliver technical training and mentor learners in heavy equipment operation.
Strong understanding of OSHA regulations, transportation construction trades, and workforce development practices.
Must retain and maintain valid class A driver's license.
Valid driver's license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).

ECS is seeking an experienced Instructor/Operator to provide AH-64E LCT support in Qatar.
Responsibilities
Maintaining liaison with all supported aviation customers to coordinate matters of simulator scheduling and training.
Prepare simulator flight hour utilization and scheduling reports. Reports shall be submitted to the Assisted Acquisition (AAS) COR and supported Units designated representative within five working days after the end of the month.
Support briefings and demonstrations of the simulators by the host nation.
Conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections of the simulator. The contractor shall conduct scheduled and unscheduled inspections requiring an I/O as determined by the maintenance contractor. Conduct operational readiness checks and simulator maintenance test flights. Report on all noted deficiencies to the maintenance technician and AAS COR.
If required, the SUB will track individual flight hours from flight time entered on the simulator Department of the Army (DA) Form 2408-12 or countries' format. A record of the individual pilot's simulator flight time shall be maintained at the facility, until the individual departs the unit. A copy of the flight time will be provided to supported units flight operations monthly, within five working days of the end of that month or upon request.
Develop a flight simulator training Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) describing qualifications, responsibilities, and procedures necessary to ensure a comprehensive flight training and evaluation program. SOP is subject to AAS COR approval.
Instructor Pilot services and support to include instruction in aircraft systems, instrument flight, mission scenarios and the operation of the flight management system, and emergency procedures.
IOS services and support shall include instrument flight and mission scenarios, flight management system operations, emergency procedures, fault insertion, Air Traffic Control (ATC) services, and controlling the weather of the simulator.
Provide flight instruction, in-flight evaluation, examination, and instruction services. Determine required training objectives and scope, including subjects or tasks to be taught and evaluation criteria. Train pilots to the U.S. Army or host nation standards IAW aviation publications and regulations.
Check-in each scheduled air crew upon their arrival at the facility. Provide the aircrew with any requested mission scenario loads to include weather, current aircraft flight planning data, and any other information needed for completion of the mission, as requested.
Ensure aircrew has the aircraft specific operational publications and information, required forms, and other flight planning materials for the flight-training period. The contractor shall utilize and maintain flight information publications and technical manuals as provided by the U.S. Government and host nation.
Remain immediately available to the aircrew throughout the flight-training period. Prior to the training flight, the I/O will review the pilots' flight planning for accuracy, critique/ instruct and answer any questions as requested.
Conduct debriefings and grading of the aircrew IAW the applicable Aircrew Training Manual. The I/O will also provide appropriate comments relative to the flight and written comments in the Individual Aircrew Training Folder (IATF) for instrument check rides and any other training/evaluation events requiring written comments. The I/O will instruct the aircrew in techniques and corrective procedures to help avoid error repetition.
Provide instruction on day/night/Night Vision Goggles (NVG) contact, emergency procedures, instrument, terrain flight, tactics, gunnery, and aircraft systems and simulated air traffic control services IAW Air Traffic Control Manual, FAA Order 7110.65 for terminal, enroute, and approach and departure control services.
Provide simulator I/O qualification training and evaluation for unit aviators as requested
Serve as the subject matter expert for aircrew training manual, aviation procedures and techniques, and all others in the performance of their duties. The I/O will stay knowledgeable on all changes in reference to publications, regulations and procedures, project guidelines, and progress of training. The I/O will recommend changes and improvements to existing courses and publications as required.
Evaluate performance of the flight simulators and recommend software and hardware improvements to the maintenance contractor and AAS COR.
Provide existing, modified and/or contractor-developed training tutorials, courseware curricula and Programs of Instruction (POI) for military and civilian related subjects in English. The contractor shall reuse all existing training and course materials to the maximum extent possible.

HOW A Secondary Firearms Instructor (SFI) WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
The Secondary Firearms Instructor (SFI) supports the Lead Firearms Instructor (LFI) during the Federal Flight Deck Officer (FFDO) Requalification Training sessions. The SFI assists the LFI as directed in the preparation; completion; and post session clean-up requirements of all FFDO Semi-annual Firearms Requalification sessions.
Ensures student safety during dry-fire and live-fire training venues.
The SFI provides one-on-one instruction to students during the pre-qualification (warm-up) course of fire; and any remedial training as designated by the LFI.
The SFI must possess the demonstrated ability to effectively communicate law enforcement training concepts and issues to a diverse audience; and must possess the demonstrated ability to instruct in accordance with the principles of basic adult education; as well as platform and practical area instruction for law enforcement.
The SFI must have the ability to interpret; apply; and adhere to established program policies; standard operating procedures (SOPs); and lesson plans.
The SFI keeps all Sensitive Security Information (SSI) and Sensitive Personally Identifying Information (SPII) secured appropriately both during and after a re-qualification session in compliance with the TSA MD 2100.2; Privacy and Information Collection Policy and TSA MD 1400.3 TSA Information Security Policy.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Required Experience: SFIs must have a minimum of 5 years of formal experience as an instructor in ALL of the following law enforcement disciplines: firearms; defensive tactics/measures; and use of force.
The SFI must be a current or former certified law enforcement official or civilian employee having completed a military; state; county or municipally certified firearms training program.
Associates Degree; or the equivalent combination of education; technical certifications or training; or work/military experience.
The SFI must also comply with all Federal; state; and/or local requirements.
This position requires applicants to successfully complete the security application and pass a background investigation clearance prior to starting.*
Working Conditions The work is typically performed at an indoor or outdoor gun range. Employees will be required to handle weapons and ammunition in the course of their duties. Exposure to high volumes of noise due to the firing of weapons will occur and employees are required to wear hearing protection in the form of foam ear plugs as well as external hearing protection. Exposure to expelled gun-powder as a result of fired ammunition is expected; and the employees must wash hands after handling ammunition.
