Qualifications:
A valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL), with no more than two moving violations in a 12-month period, and/or no more than three moving violations in a 24-month period. Driving records not complying with the foregoing will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Must have a minimum of 3 years over the road or local commercial driving experience, and/or minimum criteria required to obtain instructor licensure within the applicable jurisdiction and meet all other licensure requirements.
Must pass and continuously maintain a U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) physical which is issued in accordance with all regulations and recommendations of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, pass an approved DOT drug test and hair follicle drug test (HFT) and agree to random and suspicion-based drug and alcohol screening.
Must have the ability to effectively communicate with others using verbal and non-verbal/written skills. Must possess and demonstrate the physical, intellectual and leadership ability to deliver the company's approved training and curriculum to students in the areas of classroom, full pre-trip inspection, basic control skills and road driving.
Must successfully complete all required new hire onboarding and training in a timely manner, as well as continuing education as required by the company.
The expected starting pay range for this position is $25.61 - $34.15 per hour. Offers determined based on experience, skills, and qualifications. The Position
The Caifornia State University Dominguez Hills Department of English is hiring an Assistant/Advanced Assistant/Associate Professor of English with a specialty in Applied Linguistics. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in both our B.A. program in Language and Linguistics and ouar M.A. program in Teaching English as a Second Language. Compensation

Candidates in this position will be tasked with teaching labs or discussions which are foundational level courses while maintaining an active dialogue with the coordinator. Candidates should demonstrate their ability to interact and work effectively with a wide and culturally diverse range of students, including first-generation college students. Workload can be as little as one course up to a maximum of 15 WTU.
This is a pool of graduate students for the department to draw on as necessary and all appointments are temporary. TYPICAL ACTIVITIES
The successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Organic or Analytical Chemistry and have a command of the subject matter.

ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry prides itself on the quality of the instruction it provides, and the personal attention given to its students. Most classes are deliberately kept to a moderate size, so students can better interact with the instructor. General chemistry lecture classes are usually capped at 96, while upper division classes are anywhere between 10-72 students. Laboratory classes are typically 24 for general chemistry, and 16-20 or less for most upper division classes. The upper division labs are mostly taught by permanent faculty, and the lower division laboratories are mostly taught by the part-time lecturers and a few teaching associates from the MSES program. Good advice is considered a key aspect to academic progress at CSUSB, and chemistry faculty advisors are available for consultation. Each student majoring in chemistry or biochemistry will be required to see an advisor at least once each year to ensure they are on track for graduation.
The Department also features state-of-the-industry laboratory equipment and instrumentation. Laboratory bench experience includes ready access to computers for simulation and recording purposes. There are laboratory areas dedicated for laboratory courses as well as research activities.

Hesperia Unified School District Job Purpose Statement: The job of Instructional Assistant - Medically Fragile is done for the purpose of assisting in the general physical care and instruction of medically fragile students; implementing educational programs and/or modifying lesson plans, assisting students in developing daily living and behavioral skills; perform a variety of special health care activities appropriate to student needs, relieve the teacher of routine clerical and instructional tasks. Essential Job Functions: Adapts classroom work/homework under the direction of the teacher for the purpose of providing a method to support and/or reinforce classroom objectives. Administers tests, homework, make-up work, etc. for the purpose of assisting teacher in evaluating students' progress and/or recognizing the individual needs of the student. Assists student(s) in administration of medication, perform toileting, diapering, clothing manipulation, food preparation, feeding, gastrostomy feeding tube, tracheotomy care, cleaning, surface suctioning, skin integrity check, colostomy cleaning or care and intermittent catheterization. Assists in implementing educational programs for the purpose of meeting the individual needs of students i.e. media, computer programs, note-taking, direct learning activities) Assists in achieving physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy. Confers with teachers and other district personnel for the purpose of assisting in evaluation of students' progress and/or implementing student's objectives. Monitors individual students in the classroom, on campus and on the bus to ensure a safe and positive enviroment. Operates basic medical, exercise, therapeutic, instructional and office equipment; operate communication devices and adapts to computers as assigned. Participates in various meetings for the purpose of sharing information and/or improving one's skills/knowledge. Performs record keeping and basic clerical functions, scheduling, copying, etc. for the purpose of supporting the teacher in maintaining student files and providing classroom materials. OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS Assists other personnel as may be required for the purpose of supporting them in the completion of their work activities. Provides first aid using universal precautions, such as seizures or cardio-respiratory arrest. Responds to emergency situations (e.g. injured student, fights, etc.) For the purpose of resolving immediate safety concerns. Attend district training, provided by a registered nurse on specialized healtcare proceudres prior to assisting with specialized health procedures eg. (catheterization use of hoyer lift,gastrostomy tube, tracheotomy care), receving a certificate of training completion. Specific abilities to adhere to safety practices; be attentive to detail; implement established curriculum; meet deadlines and schedules; and work under time constraints; motivate and work with students (at- risk populations. Lift a minimum of 50 lbs. Responsibility in relationship to people includes leading and guiding. Summary Description:
This is a full-time tenure track position teaching mathematics including statistics and possibly Dual Enrollment Course. The successful candidate will utilize recognized methodologies that support student success and be part of an engaged campus community.
