WORKING CONDITIONS:

This is an adjunct faculty position contracted on a quarterly basis. Lecture (theory) credits are compensated at $1,058 per credit, which includes scheduled class time and final exam days, in addition to a per credit stipend based on the high demand tier. All guided practice instructional credits for adjunct will be paid with an additional pay factor of 1.33. Future advancement in base salary, up to the current maximum of $1,592 per credit, is based upon a combination of years of service accrued at our college and professional development activity.
Degree Stipend:
Master's or Doctorate degree stipends are paid on a prorated per credit rate.

This Program Head will lead and oversee the development and execution of early-phase clinical trials for novel cancer therapies. This role is crucial in translating groundbreaking research into clinical practice, ensuring the safe and efficient evaluation of new treatments. Pay, Benefits & Work Schedule
Adjunct Professor is typically assigned as needed on a quarterly basis, with no expectation of continued employment beyond the current appointment.
Quarterly remuneration for 5-credit lecture class is $6050.02 - $7375.17. Compensation is prorated based on type and duration of assignments. Individuals newly hired to Adjunct Professor group at the college are placed at the minimum rate per union bargaining agreement. Certain positions may also be eligible for assignment/project-based additional compensation, including a High Demand Stipend up to $8,350 annually, prorated based on the discipline and duration of the assignment. All additional compensations are subject to change depending on funding and negotiated agreement.
Generous benefits package for eligible employees is offered through Washington State plans that includes multiple medical, dental, life and disability coverage choices for employees and dependents; choices of retirement and deferred compensation plans; paid personal leave plan; transit program, reduced tuition, employee discounts and memberships, etc. Eligible employees are faculty who work a combined load of at least 50% at Bellevue College and other Washington State public institutions of higher education for two consecutive quarters are eligible for health and dental insurance at the start of the second consecutive quarter.

Essential Functions
Nursing faculty perform duties and responsibilities under the general direction of the Program Chair and are responsible primarily to the Nursing Dean in the Health Sciences, Education & Wellness Institute (HSEWI) division.

Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Nursing from accredited institution who is currently enrolled in a master's or higher degree in nursing or related field.

* Basic Life Support Certification from American Heart association and updated TB and other immunizations mandated by our clinical partners
* An advocate for pluralism with a teaching philosophy appropriate for a diverse (multicultural, multi-ability, etc.) classroom

* Master's degree in Nursing or related field from an accredited institution
* Certification in clinical specialty

* History of life-long learning and professional development in nursing practice, quality care, and current health care issues
* Experience in addressing disproportionate impact and equity issues within an institution

Position Summary

Olympic College is seeking adjunct faculty who can help maintain cutting-edge instruction, bring an entrepreneurial spirit necessary to collaboratively assist in growing and guiding a department dedicated to serving the authentic needs of the digital filmmaker in the 21st century, and help take the department to the next level of national prominence. * A working knowledge of video equipment (camera, boom, monitor, etc.) as used in the class environment is required; editing skills are a plus.
* Recent experience as an actor or director in feature films and/or episodic content or web series. Preference will be given to instructors with SAG/AFTRA, AEA affiliations, and recent/current film credits.

Terms of Employment
This is an adjunct faculty position contracted on a quarterly basis. Placement on the faculty salary schedule will be commensurate with educational background and experience. The salary listed is a range based on per quarter. A collective bargaining agreement exists, and this position is covered by the Association for Higher Education (AHE). Flexibility is required to meet the needs of the department. Evening and/or weekend classes, instruction at satellite Olympic College campuses, and off-campus assignments including travel to clinical sites may be a part of the instructional load.
Adjunct positions at the college are open continuously and reviewed on a quarter-by-quarter basis. This is a 0.6 to 1.0 FTE non-tenure track position as a Part-Time/Full-Time Associate Teaching Professor or Teaching Professor in the Teaching Professor track. Part-Time/Full-Time Associate Teaching Professors and Teaching Professors hold annual appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30) and may be reappointed to subsequent annual terms. Responsibilities:

Teaching & Curricular Oversight (approximately 80% of time)
