    Family Medicine Residency Spokane is seeking a full-time, board-certified Family Medicine physician for a faculty position. Family Medicine Residency Spokane was established in 1972 as a flagship Family Medicine Residency program affiliated with the University of Washington School of Medicine. Home to the first OB Fellowship in the country, the program educates 6 core residents and two rural-track residents a year in a state-of-the-art teaching health clinic. Physicians in this program collaborate strongly with the Internal Medicine and Psychiatry Residencies in a patient-centered, medical-home model at the Spokane Teaching Health Clinic (STHC). The sponsoring institutions are a consortium between Washington State University, Empire Health Foundation and Providence Health & Services. Duties would capitalize on your talent and passion in the following capacities: * Direct and indirect supervisor and instruction of resident physicians in the STHC and obstetrical floor. Inpatient hospital duties also preferred but not required * Abbreviated direct patient care in the STHC and/or Maternity Clinic * Call while staffing the Family Medicine hospital service and/or obstetrical service * Advising resident physicians * Delivering didactic lectures, workshops and informal educational presentations * Curricular and programmatic oversight * A variety of administrative duties * Compensation is between $222,757 to $308,426 per year * The compensation amounts listed may include productivity or quality/service incentives, call pay, extra shift incentives, as applicable to the position. This team provides outpatient competency restoration to individuals who have been charged with misdemeanor and felony crimes and have been court ordered for restoration. The Lead Instructor is responsible for using the Breaking Barriers C.O.R.E. workbook to create the curriculum for classes on competency restoration. The Lead Instructor will work closely with the Subject Matter Expert, Peer Specialist, and Prescriber to ensure all requirements are met for competency restoration. The Lead Instructor is responsible for coordinating care with the Forensic Navigator assigned by the court to aid individuals who have been court ordered for restoration. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Complete intake for enrollment into OCRP which includes an assessment of the individual's barriers to competency. Work collaboratively with the Subject Matter Expert and Enhanced Peer Support Specialist to ensure that the individual's treatment plan contains individualized barriers completely and the treatment interventions are appropriate to address those barriers. Serve as the primary provider to monitor and report how an individual is overcoming their barriers and identify these in a collaborative effort within the Weekly Status Update. In coordination with the Supervisor and team, notify the Forensic Navigator of any violations of the individual's court order, including those that may not otherwise result in a Behavioral Concern Report. Review the Behavioral Concern Reports prior to submission to ensure that the violation of the court order is accurately identified and provided to the Forensic Navigator within 24-hours. Facilitate psychosocial treatment service consisting of group activities or individual treatment sessions to address specific Barriers to Competency through utilization of the CORE modules and other treatment modules embedded with the Breaking Barriers Competency Restoration program. Work with the Forensic Navigator to arrange for transportation or coordinate the use of telehealth, or travel in person to provide OCRP services to individuals outside of Spokane county. Ensure transitional services are in place prior to the intake with OCRP, such as referrals to other Trueblood programs, mental health, and substance use. Notify and coordinate care with the mobile crisis team and/or co-responder team if assistance is needed to locate individuals who are not attending OCRP services. Collaborate with Trueblood system partners including FHARPS, FPATH and Forensic Navigators. Complete on-site regular drug screening for individuals with a current substance use disorder diagnosis, as identified in policy or stipulated from the court order. Participate as requested in the OCRP administrative meetings, Learning Collaboratives, Case Consultations, and regional collaboration meetings with HCA. Serve as an expert regarding curriculum development changes, while working collaboratively with OCRP providers to aid further program development. Request the Competency Evaluation at the end of Legal Authority, or during an early request at the approval of the Supervisor and Program Administrator. Attend court as needed to aid in the referral process to OCRP, at the request of the Supervisor or assigned Forensic Navigator. Maintain client records and all other required documentation in a timely and confidential manner, in accordance with agency policies and practices. Collect and document data in the Navigator Case Management system and other reporting systems at the direction of the HCA. Ensure there is not duplication of services if the individual is enrolled with a behavioral health provider. Provision crisis and hospital diversion services to individuals at high risk. Complete suicide and homicide risk assessments to determine a level of response needed to maintain the safety of the individual or others. Facilitate use of/access to crisis hospital diversion resources, including Stabilization and/or E&T admission. Requires travel to see clients in the community and travel between work sites either via FBH owned Vehicles and/or personal vehicle. Other duties as assigned. QUALIFIED APPLICANTS WILL HAVE: REQUIRED: Master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work or related field from accredited college or university. Working toward full licensure in the State of Washington, with a maximum period of 5 years post hire to obtain licensure.
