The Department of Landscape Architecture at the University of Oregon invites applications for a tenure-track Associate or Full Professor. The successful candidate will serve as the Department Head and for the duration of their leadership appointment will hold the Sue and Mort Fuller Endowed Professorship in Landscape Architecture. Department or Program Summary
The Department of Landscape Architecture within the College of Design is the oldest landscape architecture department west of the Mississippi. Evolving and growing for more than 100 years, our program's roots started in 1911. We are the only landscape architecture program in Oregon, administering accredited MLA and BLA professional degrees and a PhD. Our curriculum focuses on understanding landscapes across multiple scales. The department offers an engaged design education through the Urban Farm, the Fuller Initiative for Productive Landscapes, and the Landscape for Humanity initiative. We partner with community groups and the local American Society of Landscape Architects chapter to focus on real-world projects that are carried through to completion. The department also leads the Sustainable Cities and Landscapes Program under the Association of Pacific Rim Universities (APRU) with 21 partner universities across the Pacific Rim, offering various global engagement opportunities and resources to students and faculty.
The Department of Landscape Architecture serves graduate and undergraduate majors, including Bachelor of Environmental Design, Bachelor of Landscape Architecture, Master of Landscape Architecture, and PhD in Landscape Architecture. Our programs provide rigorous, accredited curricula combining theory, research, design skills, and extensive real-world studio instruction so that students become effective and creative leaders in the profession.

Adjunct Professor Biochemistry The Biology Department of Linfield University is searching for an adjunct Professor to teach a Biochemistry course and associated lab in the Spring of 2025. The course is designed for upper division Biology and Biochemistry majors. The class would run from February 9th through May 29th, with 150 minutes of lecture a week and a three-hour lab each week. There is significant staff support for the lab portion of the course, and lab content is flexible in terms of instructor background. The days that lecture and lab are offered are flexible and can be worked out with the chair of biology. A Ph.D. in biology or a related field is desirable, but candidates who are ABD will be considered.

The Department of Planning, Public Policy and Management (PPPM) offers 3 master's programs, including Community and Regional Planning, Nonprofit Management, and Public Administration. The Community and Regional Planning program awards a MCRP and is accredited by the Planning Accreditation Board. The Department of Human Physiology is home to undergraduate and graduate students who desire strong training in human physiology and anatomy that will prepare them for careers in medicine, allied health professions, and biomedical research. Minimum Requirements
Assistant Teaching Professor:
• Master's degree in Human Physiology or a related field.
• Demonstrated teaching experience in the fields related to this position (e.g. teaching college level courses, creating and delivering training programs, mentoring undergraduate or graduate student theses, guest lectures, or other related instructional experience).
To be considered for the rank of Associate Teaching Professor, candidates must meet all the requirements of Assistant rank plus:
• Six years of instructional experience in higher education post-receipt of a master's degree.
• Evidence of high-quality teaching and professional expertise in the field as related to the position.
Professional Competencies
• Ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff from diverse backgrounds and potential to contribute positively to our community.
• Demonstrated ability for effective teaching practices and learning strategies at the college and university level.
