The successful candidate is expected to establish an externally funded research program and contribute to undergraduate and graduate education, including an introductory course in environmental health and an advanced course in an area of expertise. Courses may include statistics, social, developmental, or personality psychology, with opportunities to teach in the candidate's area of expertise and core curriculum needs (e.g., introductory psychology, research methods, advanced research). Conduct research, with particular emphasis on collaboration with undergraduate students. Mentor students to promote success in and out of the classroom, degree completion, and an inclusive learning environment. Provide service to the department, the college, and/or the profession. Teaching responsibilities begin in August 2026; academic advising and college service begin in the following year. Required Qualifications Ph.D. in Psychology (ABD candidates encouraged to apply). Evidence of a strong commitment to teaching, scholarship, and/or service to all individuals. Candidates must have authorization to work in the United States at the time of hire.
