The Washington Center is seeking a part-time instructor to teach Principles of Project Management. This course provides an introduction to project management principles, practices, and essential skills required in modern project environments. The instructor will guide students through the fundamental aspects of project management, including theoretical concepts and applied case studies.
The Washington Center is a hybrid organization with most employees working on average one day per week in TWC's Residential and Academic Facility, conveniently located near Union Station and public transportation in the NoMa neighborhood of Washington, DC. JOB FUNCTION
Prepare and deliver engaging lectures and discussions in line with the syllabus and university guidelines.
Facilitate in-class group learning exercises, case studies, and discussions.
Assign and grade coursework, midterm exams, and final exams.
Provide timely feedback to students on assignments and assessments.
Evaluate and mentor students through a team-based project assignment.
Ensure students understand key project management principles, project phases, and processes.
Promote critical thinking, participation, and active learning in the classroom.
