A person who is broadly trained, committed to student formation, willing to teach a variety of courses, and eager to provide service to both the diocese and wider community will flourish in this position.

The anticipated primary site of clinical practice will be at University Medical Center in New Orleans, an academic medical center of LCMC Health with 446 licensed inpatient beds, 12 bed Neurocritical Care unit, outpatient services as well as the region's only level 1 Trauma Center.
Responsibilities include leading the trauma service, providing clinical services and supervision of Neurosurgery residents, as well as shared trauma and neurosurgery call.
