Job Summary: The Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) faculty member for Long Island University (LIU) Lewyt College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM) is responsible for helping to coordinate the development and monitoring of the CVM model for community-based clinical hospitals and industry partners. The DVM faculty provides oversight of CVM evaluation and assessment activities. QUALIFICATIONS: Possess earned doctorate degree with relevant qualifications and experience in the course subjects from an accredited institution. Teaching experience at a post-secondary institution for didactic courses (preferred). Post-Graduate training (degrees, diplomates and professional certificates) is preferred for clinical responsibilities. Prepares and delivers instruction in introductory Anthropology courses to a diverse student body. Provides regular and timely feedback to students and utilizes innovative classroom instruction to promote student success.
