Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at North Dakota State University invites applications for a tenure-track or tenured faculty position at the rank of Assistant, Associate or Full Professor, with appointments beginning before or July 1st, 2026. Rank and salary commensurate with experience and funding status. The qualified individual with experience and grant funding will have opportunity to be appointed as the Director of the established NIH Center of Biomedical Research Excellence on Pancreatic Cancer. Candidates should have a strong record of scholarship, publications, effective written and oral communication skills and should possess good interpersonal skills. For COBRE director position, preference will be given to NIH-R01 (or equivalent)-funded applicants with training and research expertise in cancer. Applicants should also have a strong teaching experience. The successful candidate will be expected to develop an externally funded research program, teach Pharm D curriculum and mentor graduate students.
Candidates must hold a doctoral degree in Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology or related fields. Responsibility includes teaching pharmaceutics, or pharmacology related courses in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, NDSU School of Pharmacy.
A highly competitive salary and a start-up package commensurate with qualifications and experience will be provided. Currently, the department has 12 faculty members, 35 doctoral students and several post-doctoral fellows/research associates. The department participates in two large NIH-funded programs: the Center of Biomedical Research Excellence in Pancreatic Cancer as well as the Transcend Clinical and Translational Research Development (CTR-D) program. Faculty in the departments are funded by NIH, NSF and AHA grants in drug delivery, neurodegenerative diseases, obesity, diabetes, cancer, renal and cardiovascular pharmacology. Adjuncts within Arts & Sciences at William & Mary must maintain an in-person presence for the duration of their appointment. For this academic year, the CGA is recruiting for positions in instruction of beginning to advanced geographic information systems/geospatial analysis, however, this pool will remain open for additional needs that arise. This pool will be accessed ONLY when an opening arises. Your credentials will remain active as long as the pool position is available but no more than one year. After one year, if you are still interested, you must reapply to the current adjunct.

Required Qualifications:
A Master's degree or equivalent experience combination of education, experience, and training.
Experience in teaching (academic or non-academic).
Proficiency in the ESRI GIS product suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ph.D.
Teaching experience (> 6 months) as well as applied experience outside of academia.
Skills in other software and languages (QGIS, EarthEngine, Python, R).
Conditions of Employment:
This is a restricted position, subject to the continued availability of funding.
This part-time position is restricted to the term in which it is assigned and hired, and is not eligible for benefits. This position is also not eligible for work visa sponsorship.
This position may require additional hours beyond the typical work week, including occasional overnight and weekend work as needed to meet the business needs of the operation.
All hourly employees are subject to the limitations of the Virginia Manpower Control Program and total hours worked may not exceed, on average, 29 hours per week, over the course of a twelve-month period beginning May 1 each year.
Arts & Sciences total adjunct work hours for part-time employment from May 1 through April 30 may not exceed 1500 which equates up to 14 credit hours for Fall/Spring and up to 6 for Summer, not to exceed 18 credit hours for the year.

We are especially interested in candidates who conduct quantitative research on any stage of life and whose interests complement departmental strengths in cognitive, social/personality, and health psychology. The Department: The Department of Psychology has twelve full-time faculty, one Professor of Practice, eighteen graduate students, and over 400 undergraduate majors. The Department of Psychology offers world-class research and training in health, developmental, social, and cognitive psychology. The Department also houses the Center for Visual and Cognitive Neuroscience (CVCN) which was established by a NIH Center for Biomedical Research Excellence (COBRE) grant. The Community: NDSU is located in Fargo-Moorhead (F-M), a pleasant, safe, and growing community of approximately 240,000. As the largest population center in the region, F-M is a center for entertainment, finance, and medical services for a large geographic area including the state of North Dakota and northern Minnesota. Two universities (North Dakota State University and Minnesota State University Moorhead) and one private liberal arts college (Concordia College) are located in Fargo and Moorhead. Central and western North Dakota offer beautiful hiking, camping, fishing, hunting, and related opportunities in the Badlands, national grasslands, and numerous river valleys. Winnipeg, Manitoba is less than a four-hour drive to the north and Minneapolis-St. Paul is an equal distance to the southeast.

Summary:
The Department of Data Science at William & Mary, a public university of the Commonwealth of Virginia, seeks applications for a tenure track position at the Assistant Professor level. We seek candidates focused on methodological innovation in large-scale and multi-modal data, with foci in causal AI, uncertainty quantification, physical AI, and/or information theory. Appointment will begin August 10, 2026. We are interested in individuals with research and teaching expertise that pushes theoretical boundaries - especially interdisciplinary engagement that advances discovery in the physical or environmental sciences - with an emphasis on creating broadly applicable foundational methods that enable cross-domain discovery.
Successful candidates will be expected to develop and sustain an externally funded research program that fosters a dynamic lab environment engaging Data Science Ph.D., masters and undergraduate students; mentor, supervise, and train students in research; and teach one course per semester while developing curriculum that bridges disciplinary boundaries. They will also provide service to the Department, School, and University, and contribute to the growth and reputation of the unit.
Ideal applicants will have a broad fluency in probabilistic modeling, Bayesian or other approaches to uncertainty, theoretical foundations of causation, and computational techniques that support scalable inference and learning. They should demonstrate a strong record or promise in publishing methodologically innovative work. Demonstrated experience coordinating collaborations across domains (e.g. with physics, engineering, geoscience, or environmental science) is preferred.

A Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related Computational Science (including applications of computation in the physical or environmental sciences) at the time appointment begins (August 10, 2026).
Preferred Qualifications:

Evidence of scholarly achievement or demonstrated potential as a scholar.
