The Department of Computer Science and Engineering ( CSE ) at the University at Buffalo (UB) invites candidates to apply for the position of Associate Professor or Full Professor to be known as Professor of Empire Innovation . Selected candidates will receive support through the SUNY Empire Innovation Program ( EIP ), which recognizes high-caliber faculty with a proven track record of externally funded research. The Department of Computer Science and Engineering ( CSE ) offers BS degrees in computer science (accredited by the Computing Accreditation Commission of ABET , and in computer engineering (accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET , a combined 5-year BS- MS program, a minor in computer science, a Certificate in Data-Intensive Computing, and several joint programs (BS in Computer Science/ MBA , BS in Computational Physics, BA in Social Sciences Interdisciplinary - Cognitive Science Concentration, BS in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology - CSE concentration), a minor in cybersecurity, and an advanced graduate certificate in cybersecurity as well as MS and PhD programs in Computer Science & Engineering.
