North Idaho College is seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Adjunct Professor of Medical Laboratory Technology to join our dedicated team of health science educators. This position plays a vital role in preparing the next generation of laboratory professionals by teaching up to 9 credits of online didactic and/or in-person laboratory courses. Course topics may include Hematology and Hemostasis, Transfusion Medicine, Medical Lab Chemistry, Microbiology, Immunology, Parasitology, Lab Operations, Internship and Capstone Seminar, and more. You'll collaborate regularly with the Idaho Consortium of Medical Laboratory Technology Education (ICMLTE) and work closely with program leadership to support accreditation, curriculum updates, and student outcomes assessment.
In this role, you'll design and deliver engaging instruction, maintain weekly office hours, and help ensure that our lab experiences are rigorous and equivalent across delivery methods. You'll also be responsible for preparing and maintaining lab environments, staying up to date with industry standards, and participating in recruitment and outreach.

Teaching assignment is 9 months with pay and benefits over 12 months. The successful candidate will participate in curriculum design, implementation, evaluation, and revision and will provide support to enrolled program and pre-program students. Additional responsibilities include academic advising, scholarship/professional development, and service activities. Additional duties include direct and indirect activities to support the recruitment and retention of students.

Idaho State University's Department of Mechanical and Measurement & Control Engineering (MMCE) invites applications to join our dynamic and growing team. The position is for a 9-month, tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Biomechanical Engineering starting August 2026.
As an Assistant Professor in MMCE, the expectations for the successful applicant are to participate in developing and teaching both undergraduate and graduate mechanical engineering courses, as well as in the core undergraduate curriculum, to build a collaborative, externally funded research program and to perform professional service. Consideration will be given to applicants with broad research interests in Biomechanical Engineering which may include but are not limited to biomechanics, medical devices/wearables, rehabilitation engineering, biomaterials, and medical imaging. Teaching - Teach in learning events as assigned. Teaching responsibilities include time spent in the classroom, clinical sites, laboratory, or telecommunications/remote courses and in immediate preparation for them; maintaining and improving competence in subjects being taught; preparing teaching materials; conferring with students on course materials; directing individual and group studies and practice; reviewing written examinations and papers; supervising or teaching clinical internships or programs; working with other faculty and the Simulation Department to develop, implement, and participate in clinical simulations and small group activities; working closely with other faculty to develop and implement innovative and interactive presentations of the curriculum; participating in courses/lectures/workshops or clinical activities to meet the curricular needs of the college. Faculty will also act as a Course Director, Medical Course Director, or Co-Course Director as assigned.
Research - Research and scholarly activity responsibilities include working to create and add to knowledge in a field including the advancement of new theories and principles; assisting in the planning and development of research programs and the allocation of resources to support such research; supervision and encouragement of student participation in research endeavors.
Service - Service to the college, local and national organizations. Service responsibilities include serving on the institutional governing bodies and committees as assigned; using academic and professional expertise to serve your profession and the community; participating in faculty development; conducting peer reviews as assigned; conducting prospective student interviews; participating in interviews for potential new hires of the college; student advising which includes time spent meeting with students regarding academic, curricular and career matters; mentoring students in preparation for examinations including licensing board exams as well as coaching unmatched students; advising student clubs and organizations.
Represent ICOM in a positive and productive manner in areas assigned by the Department Chair and/or the Dean.
Become familiar with and adhere to ICOM's bylaws, rules, regulations, administrative and academic practices, policies and procedures as set forth in documents such as the Employee Handbook, Academic Handbook and ICOM's Code of Ethical Conduct and AOA's Code of Ethics.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
DO (from a COCA-accredited medical school) or MD.
Board certification eligibility by the appropriate AOA or ACGME specialty board, as required.
A substantial record of success as an educator with experience in teaching foundational concepts which are relevant to medical education. Preferred candidates shall have teaching experience in an academic setting and/or health delivery with both being preferred.
Experience with curricular and instructional design and training or experience in educational theory and/or evaluation preferred.
Experience using innovative teaching methods which might include team-based learning, ‘flipped classroom', problem-based learning, distance learning, interactive large group presentation, audience response systems, curriculum delivery systems (e.g. Blackboard), and proficiency in exam item writing (USMLE and/or COMLEX-style) preferred.

Psychology Department
The Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) in Clinical Psychology is focused on training students to be practitioner-scholars who integrate faith/spirituality into clinical work as clinical psychologists. The PsyD program is built on three pillars of clinical competence, academic rigor, and faith integration. Graduates of this program will be prepared for licensure in the practice of clinical psychology, which takes many forms including, but not limited to, psychotherapy/counseling, psychological and cognitive assessment, and program administration.
Description of Position
NNU's College of Behavioral and Social Sciences is seeking to fill a part-time, associated faculty position in the PsyD department beginning Fall 2025. This faculty member will contribute to the PsyD program through teaching, supervising research, and mentoring students. We are seeking candidates with expertise in clinical skills, assessment, research methods, or other relevant areas of psychology.
Essential Functions:
Teach at least one class per semester, with flexibility to distribute a minimum of 14-18 credits (.58-.75 time) annually across fall, spring, and summer terms based on individual preference.
Develop and update syllabi to align with accreditation standards and program outcomes.
Supervise PsyD students in their clinical work as a licensed clinical psychologist, providing mentorship and oversight of clinical competencies.
Guide doctoral students through the dissertation process.
Participate in program curriculum revisions.
Maintain weekly office hours to support student learning and development.
Attend and contribute to PsyD faculty and committee meetings (approximately twice monthly).
Participate in PsyD student interviews and PsyD program events.
Model and uphold ethical, professional, and cultural competencies in alignment with APA accreditation standards and NNU's mission.
Foster a supportive learning environment that integrates faith, academic excellence, and professional preparation
Perform other duties as assigned
All doctoral classes are held in the evening, beginning at 4:00 PM.

Job Description
The Department of Sociology, Social Work, and Criminology at Idaho State University invites applications for a tenure-track position in Social Work beginning August 2026. We seek applicants who can teach core and elective courses within the MSW curriculum. We are open to a variety of research interests for this position, as well as a variety of theoretical and methodological approaches. However, we are especially interested in applicants whose research focus is on rural social work and mental health. Teaching duties for this position are a 3/3 load and include in-class, broadcast (synchronous online), and online (asynchronous) formats. While we are open to a variety of teaching foci, we are particularly interested in candidates who can teach research-oriented classes. The successful candidate will be expected to grow and maintain an active research program, including publishing in scholarly journals and submitting grant proposals, and to fill service roles in the department, college, university, and community. The hired candidate will be based at Idaho State University's Pocatello campus.
