We are seeking individuals with expertise in various ISE and/or interdisciplinary methods with a focus in smart manufacturing (Industry 4.0). Areas of application include, but are not limited to, additive manufacturing, industrialized construction and infrastructure, semiconductors, aerospace, robotics, agriculture, sustainable manufacturing practices, supply chain operations, agile and/or in-situ quality assurance modeling, and structural health monitoring. This position supports the continued growth of both the Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering and the Department of Industrial & Systems Engineering. It is strategically aligned with the launch of ISE's new Master of Science in Engineering Management (MSEM) program, which will be offered at UF's Jacksonville campus. The faculty member hired will be part of the ISE Department program and will play a key role in delivering and supporting the MSEM program on-site. The Jacksonville campus is integral to UF's broader vision of establishing a national center of excellence through robust collaboration with industry, government, and community stakeholders. Its workforce-driven graduate programs are designed to cultivate future leaders and drive economic development in the region, contributing to the long-term prosperity of the state. Successful candidates will be expected to maintain a strong record of high-quality publications, supervise Ph.D. students, teach both undergraduate and graduate courses in Industrial & Systems Engineering, and actively contribute to the department's service activities.
