The Department of Neurosciences invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. We seek highly motivated applicants who utilize innovative and cutting-edge approaches to investigate fundamental mechanisms of neural development, regeneration, circuit plasticity, systems function, and neural computation in vertebrate nervous systems and how perturbation of these mechanisms contributes to neurodevelopmental, neurodegenerative, and/or psychiatric diseases. The new investigator will have the opportunity to interact and collaborate with a diverse group of individuals in basic science and clinical departments within the School of Medicine, University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center, Cleveland Clinic, Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center, and MetroHealth Medical Center. The School of Medicine has committed resources for major expansion of the Neurosciences including hiring of tenure track research focused faculty at the rank of assistant or associate professor. To accomplish this objective, the Department of Neurosciences will initiate a nationwide search during FY2026 with the expectation of recruiting new faculty for FY2027.
In the initial year, the new assistant professor faculty member's responsibility will be to equip the new independent investigator lab, hire staff, recruit trainees, write and submit new principal investigator grant proposals, and begin pursuing research objectives. The development of the assistant professor faculty member's role will include, beginning in year 2 or 3, teaching in graduate level coursework and/or in the Case Western Reserve Medical School curriculum. During the pretenure years, the faculty member will analyze new findings and assemble the findings into manuscripts for publication. The assistant professor will begin to pursue activities at the national and international levels such as journal article refereeing, national and private foundation grant review, and invited seminar presentations at other institutions. Locally, the faculty member will begin to contribute service in years 3 and beyond by participating on departmental, medical school and/or university committees. Faculty recruited at the associate level will begin teaching in years 1 or 2. These faculty will continue their research programs, continue pursuit of grant funding, and develop new collaborations with existing CWRU faculty. Associate level faculty will expand their existing national and international research and service activities and take on leadership roles in departmental activities and committees.

The Department of Psychology at Baldwin Wallace University invites applications for a tenure-track, Assistant Professor position beginning in Fall of 2026. A PhD degree is required; however, candidates who have not yet had their degree conferred (i.e., ABD) may be considered with an expected completion of the degree within the first year of employment. All areas of specialization will be considered, yet special consideration will be given to applicants with the ability to develop community partnerships and/or service learning opportunities involving students. The position will start August 1, 2026.
We are primarily a teaching University and are looking for applicants with well-developed teaching skills. Faculty members teach a total of 21-24 credit hours per academic year. The successful applicant will be expected to teach applied courses that engage students in the Greater Cleveland community. This could be through a service learning course, internship course, or applied research course in the field. They would also be expected to teach any of our required courses, including Intro to Psychology, Statistics, SPSS, Research Methods and Thesis, in addition to a lower level topical seminar. They also may be asked to develop new courses in their area of specialization.
The Psychology Department currently has 7 full-time members representing the main sub-disciplines in the field. The Psychology major is one of the largest majors on campus, and the department is housed in the Neal Malicky Center for the Social Sciences, which has dedicated research space for human research. Faculty members involve undergraduate students in their research program. The successful candidate will engage in an active program of applied research (either on campus or off campus with a healthcare/nonprofit/ community agency partner) where undergraduates will be able to improve their skills and make meaningful contributions.

The School of Nursing at CSU is rapidly growing, with approximately 975 students enrolled across our undergraduate and graduate programs. The School educates a diverse student body from various geographic, ethnic and cultural backgrounds and values community engagement.
We seek doctoral prepared nurses with a teaching portfolio that demonstrates a record of accomplishment in the classroom, curriculum design & development and student outcomes. Candidates with teaching expertise in medical-surgical nursing, women & children's health or those who have active certification as an APRN as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, preferred.
Duties include teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels with both face-to-face courses and web-based courses. These positions are on-campus. The successful candidate will be responsible for didactic courses, clinical supervision and teaching skills. In addition to teaching, these faculty will work with colleagues in course development, attending residencies for our online students, meeting accreditation standards and assisting in monitoring clinical compliance. The successful candidate must also engage in standard school, university and community service activities. Selected candidates will be required to maintain clinical currency.
The School of Nursing is housed in the College of Health along with the departments of Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD). Delivering on-campus lecture and hands-on laboratories related to semiconductor manufacturing: Operating and programming automated PCB manufacturing equipment such as stencil printing, surface mount technology (SMT) pick & place, and reflow. Operating and programming automated PCB inspection equipment such as solder paste inspection (SPI), automated optical inspection (AOI), and x-ray inspection. Reworking Ball Grid Array (BGA) PCB using semi-automated rework equipment and x-ray inspection. Designing a PCB using Altium Design software including a PCB containing a microcontroller that is capable of being programmed within a class. Working with coordinator to optimize delivery of lab and lecture content. Performing setup, operation, teardown, shutdown, and cleanup of all equipment, materials, and tooling used in MEMS bachelors high-volume PCB labs and design labs. Grading quizzes, homework, and exams using Canvas. Working with LCCC administration and staff for extracurricular events such as tours or live demonstrations.
Required Qualifications: Attained or in pursuit of a Bachelors of Engineering or Applied Science in an appropriate field related to semiconductors (ie. Electrical, Mechanical, Technology, Industrial, etc..) in addition to at least 3 years of work experience in a field related to microelectronic manufacturing. If a candidate is in pursuit of a Bachelors degree then they must be actively taking a minimum of six credit hours per semester at the bachelors level. Hands-on experience in high-volume automated PCB manufacturing, high-volume automated PCB inspection equipment, and Altium Design software. Able to work in flexible schedule from 9 AM - 9 PM on campus.
Able to use a computer with Microsoft Windows, Office, and Teams. Able to be trained on and use high-volume PCB manufacturing equipment. Excellent communication and organization skills with the ability to learn quickly. Comfortable and nimble at multitasking in a dynamic educational environment.
Preferred Qualifications: Attained Masters's degree or beyond in related field - Engineering, technology, industrial, etc. 5+ years experience working in a manufacturing environment and ESD preventative environment. 5+ years experience teaching in related field. Position requires preparation of lecture and laboratory presentations, curriculum review, and the practical instruction of laboratory skills in accordance with NAACLS standards. Subjects may include Phlebotomy, Hematology, Clinical Chemistry, Clinical Microbiology, Blood Bank/Serology, Molecular, Urinalysis/Body Fluids, Intro to MLT, Professional Development, Problem solving, Quality control, Lab Math. Evaluation of practical laboratory skill performance. Serves as a liaison between College and community health care facilities. Serves on the Medical Laboratory Advisory Committee at the College. Provides input for needs assessment, continued development, accreditation, and outcomes assessment for all Medical Laboratory programs.

Required Qualifications:

* 5 years of related recent (within the last 3 years) medical laboratory experience
* Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (or equivalent)
* Advanced communication (verbal, written and interpersonal) and organizational skills
* Sensitivity to respond appropriately to the needs of the community

Lorain County Community College (LCCC) is seeking experienced, enthusiastic, and innovative applicants for an adjunct faculty position within the Division of Engineering, Business, and Information Technologies (EBIT). The Adjunct Mechanical Systems Instructor will be responsible for, but not limited to, providing mechanical system lectures and labs for the TECN 133 Mechanical Systems course, as needed, each semester. Topics of instruction include basic industrial safety, precision measurement, basic blueprint reading, hand and powers tools, fasteners, torque and tension, gear drives, chain drives, belt drives, shaft alignment, bearings, lubrication, rigging, and ladder safety. Opportunities to teach other mechanical engineering technology courses may also be available.
The instructor: Must be available to teach days and/or evenings; Must feel comfortable using learning management systems (Canvas) in the delivery of courses; Must be able to utilize and maintain lab equipment; Must be able to adapt teaching methods to meet the varying needs and interests of students; Must be able to administer and grade tests, evaluate students, prepare weekly classes and performance testing based on the course curriculum; Must demonstrate a working knowledge and appreciation of mechanical system practices used in industry; Must be able to demonstrate the safe and proper use of tools and equipment used in industry; Must be able to deliver curriculum on campus.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a closely related field; a minimum of three years of industry experience; ability to operate a computer to post syllabus, grades, and attendance.
Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or closely related field; Prior college level teaching experience.
