This role will directly support the Thoracic Oncology Program, which is undergoing strategic renewal/expansion. The key responsibilities of the position are to deliver direct patient care for thoracic malignancies, with 2 days/week in the outpatient clinic and 6-8 weeks/year on the inpatient service. Actively contribute to the thoracic program's translational research portfolio, including investigator-initiated trials (IITs), biomarker discovery, and lab-based collaboration. Work closely with laboratory scientists to serve as a bridge between clinical practice and bench science. Engage in scholarly activities, including grant development, research publications, and collaboration with cooperative groups and pharma trials. Mentor medical students, residents, fellows, and junior faculty. Serve as a strategic contributor to program development, with potential for future elevation to Section Chief for candidates with leadership potential.
Successful candidates for the position are required to have the following qualifications and experience: an MD or MD/ PhD, Board Certified or Board Eligible in Medical Oncology. A minimum of 5 years' post-fellowship experience is strongly preferred; demonstrated clinical expertise in thoracic oncology, with the ability to contribute immediately to patient care; a proven track record in translational research, particularly in IITs, tissue-based studies, or biomarker-driven projects; and experience working within a top-tier academic or NCI-designated cancer center. Candidates with NIH R01 funding, or strong early academic productivity, are especially encouraged to apply.

Position Summary:
This adjunct position is in the field of interior design, with opportunities for teaching undergraduate and graduate students. There are potential opportunities for remote, synchronous course delivery. A candidate interested in remote teaching should have a minimum of 2 years of experience teaching in hybrid/remote or synchronous virtual formats.
Duties and Responsibilities:
This position is primary responsibility is teaching. It is expected that the candidate contributes to the CIDA accreditation process including archiving student work. Candidate will assess student learning outcome achievement and incorporate results into discipline appropriate course planning and professional development activities. Candidates with a combination of academic and practical experience are particularly encouraged to apply. Frequently, this position will work with other Interior Architecture faculty to provide IT consultation and collaboration.
In this role, you are expected to participate in departmental meetings and university trainings for adjunct faculty.
Required Qualifications:
A Master's degree or PhD is required. CIDA/FIDER accredited interior design degree, or NAAB accredited architecture degree

A successful candidate is expected to have at least 3 years' experience in teaching design studios and/or core interior design courses and/or at least 4 years of professional interior design or architecture experience.

The Department of Medicine, Division of Pulmonary, Allergy, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh is seeking applicants for a full-time faculty position in the Lung Transplant program. The division is represented by more than 100 full-time faculty members, 30 pulmonary and postdoctoral fellows, and 200 staff members actively engaged in the division's tri-partite mission of patient care, research, and teaching.
The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) is home to an active lung transplant program. Since the program's inception in 1982, UPMC has performed more than 2,300 lung or heart-lung transplants. The program is one of the most recognized and experienced centers in the world, evaluating many high-risk patients.
Applicants are specifically sought with experience in working with a multidisciplinary team in the care of patients with advanced lung disease, focusing on pre- and post-lung transplantation evaluation and treatment. The faculty will work in a highly collaborative and innovative environment with support from faculty with expertise in pulmonary immunology, ECMO, pathology, transplant pharmacology, rehabilitation, early and late-phase clinical studies, translational epidemiology, and data analysis.
