Administrative Activities:

Specifically, faculty members in Maternal Fetal Medicine are key educators to fellows enrolled in the Maternal Fetal Medicine fellowship program. Position Announcement
The Ballmer Institute has openings for multiple tenure-track faculty members. We will consider applicants at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level with tenure lines in the College of Education at the University of Oregon. Tenure-track faculty will guide the Institute's efforts to:
- Develop and deliver the nation's first undergraduate training program in children's behavioral health;.
- Create deliver evidence-based early behavioral health promotion, prevention, and intervention strategies to children and their families;

- Accelerate the discovery and dissemination of new interventions, technologies, and services informed by the community context where child behavioral health specialists will serve children and families.
Given our mission, candidates for these positions should have a program of research in child behavioral health focused on:
- Development and evaluation of behavioral health promotion, prevention, and intervention practices targeting youth mental health, and/or
- Implementation science methods focused on integrating behavioral health interventions into schools and other community settings, and/or
- Strategies for reducing disparities in mental health outcomes or access to behavioral health services as a function of race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, gender identity, neurodiversity, or disability.
Successful candidates will contribute to the research and educational mission and vision of the Ballmer Institute, and the University of Oregon. Successful candidates will conduct an active, externally funded research program and contribute to science through professional publications and presentations; engage with community partners through the Ballmer Institute; contribute to department, college, and university governance in a manner consistent with the needs of an AAU research university; and contribute to emerging continuing education and distributed learning activities. 30% Teaching
Teach in the therapeutic and pharmacy practice sequences for professional program students. This position is focused in psychiatry and mental health, but faculty are expected to teach throughout the PharmD program. Provide clinical instruction as a preceptor for clerkship students and at co-curricular activities.
40% Practice
Clinical service will be in the College's DURM group to 1) provide research, analysis and reporting on drug use patterns and trends; and 2) provide research, analysis, development, revision, and reporting of drug use educational programs and interventions, including provider profiling, academic detailing, and order change forms. This position will support and expand education and outreach efforts to Medicaid providers, with a focus on mental health medications.

Pacific Northwest College of Art (PNCA) at Willamette University invites applications for a part-time instructor in the CE department to develop and teach a new 2-week Pre-College Animation Intensive, launching in Summer 2026.

The course will meet in-person in downtown Portland, Oregon, at the Arlene and Harold Schnitzer Center for Art and Design. PNCA offers a syllabus stipend to account for time spent developing a syllabus, Canvas site, and other class materials, in addition to a per-program stipend

This faculty member may also be expected to spend a small amount of time outside of class doing preparation; this is accounted for in the per-program stipend. The Community Programs Coordinator is also available to provide support with syllabus and Canvas site development.
Instructors will be supported by a student Program Assistant. The Community Programs Coordinator will be on-campus to manage check-in, check-out, and any additional student needs.
The ideal candidate will have teaching experience
as well as
animation work experience, but we are open to considering candidates with nontraditional experience.

Clinical Activities (

):
This position works with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to maternal fetal medicine patients. This position will require expertise in clinical practice and administration within the full range of maternal/fetal medicine, both inpatient and outpatient services, and including Ultrasound, consults, procedures, and deliveries. OHSU Faculty members provide an outstanding level of clinical performance. The expectation is that clinical performance be delivered in a manner that is compliant with appropriate regulations and guidelines (the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, JCAHO, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid, and all other state, federal, and institutional regulatory guidelines). Clinical activities will take place at both OHSU and other contracted locations.
Administrative Activities:
As an OHSU faculty member this person would be required to participate in faculty meetings at the division and department level. All faculty members are expected to aid the division head and department chair in providing direction to the division and the department both on a day-to-day basis and as part of ongoing strategic planning and strategic planning.
Scholarly Activities (
research/writing, abstracts, grant supported work, presentations, etc.):
OHSU faculty members are expected to have some scholarly activity, this may be limited to educating learners as outlined below, but may also include research, and other grant supported work or academic papers and presentations in disciplines related to their field of expertise. Faculty members are often called upon to partner with other providers and members of the department or division research support staff in research activity. Faculty members are expected to participate in clinical research as needed, often with the help of trained research support staff and senior faculty principal investigators.

This position provides clinical education to fellows, residents, and medical students participating in OB/GYN rotations. As part of the multidisciplinary team charged with educating learners in the maternal fetal medicine environment, this person would be expected to provide feedback and evaluation, both formally and informally, of learners working in maternal fetal medicine. Specifically, faculty members in Maternal Fetal Medicine are key educators to fellows enrolled in the Maternal Fetal Medicine fellowship program. This faculty member will provide education and feedback to fellowship trainees in the Maternal Fetal Medicine Fellowship Program. This person would also be expected to provide feedback and guidance in the continuing development and improvement of the Maternal Fetal Medicine Fellowship program.
Other Activities:
Opportunities for scholarly research activity directed toward improved understanding of the causes, detection, and treatment of diseases or improving the educational foundation within perinatal medicine. OHSU Faculty may engage in public service through consultative activities with OHSU and non-University groups as approved by the Chair and may also participate in additional departmental or hospital administration as approved by the Chair or supervising Division Head.

The Ballmer Institute has an opening for a Full Professor faculty member with a tenure line in the Department of Psychology in the College of Arts & Sciences at the University of Oregon. Applicants at the advanced associate professor level may be considered. Tenure-track faculty will guide the Institute's efforts to:
- Develop and deliver the nation's first undergraduate training program in children's behavioral health;
- Create evidence-based early behavioral health promotion, prevention, and intervention strategies to children and their families;
-Develop interventions and services designed to reduce disparities in mental health outcomes or access to behavioral health supports; and
- Accelerate the discovery and dissemination of new interventions, technologies, and services informed by the community context where child behavioral health specialists will serve children and families.
Given our mission, candidates for these positions should have a program of research in child behavioral health focused on:
- Development and evaluation of behavioral health promotion, prevention, and intervention practices targeting youth mental health, and/or
- Implementation science methods focused on integrating behavioral health interventions into schools and other community settings, and/or

The Ballmer Institute for Children's Behavioral Health at the University of Oregon establishes a new national model for behavioral healthcare for children and families by creating the nation's first undergraduate program in child behavioral health.
The Institute prioritizes the needs of youth who have been historically or persistently underserved and seeks to make real system change by:
- Creating a new mental health profession that addresses existing barriers and gaps in mental health services, especially for underserved and marginalized communities

The Department of Psychology covers the entire field of basic psychological and clinically relevant research. Psychology faculty group themselves into four major areas: Clinical, Cognitive/Systems Neuroscience, Developmental, and Social/Personality. The faculty values interdisciplinary collaborations and open science and embraces basic as well as translational work with potential for societal impact. The department is committed to creating an inclusive community through its Committee for an Inclusive Community (CIC) and has in recent years been building a concentration of faculty who study of Diversity Science. The clinical psychology PhD program at UO in particular has a long history of excellence and is accredited by both APA and PCSAS.
Minimum Requirements
• Doctoral degree (required at time of appointment) in psychology, education, prevention science, public health, human development and family studies, or another related field.
• Established record of scholarly productivity, commensurate for career stage.
• Established track record of (or potential for) external research funding.

Function/Duties of Position
The duties of this position include:
Clinical (40-90%): Provision of outpatient and inpatient clinical duties in the Allergy and Immunology Section of the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, as assigned by the Division Head.
Administrative, Educational and Academic (10%): There are no specific administrative responsibilities assigned at this time. Educational responsibilities include presenting at and otherwise participating in division grand rounds and other conferences and may include teaching residents and medical students. Research (0-50%): Conduct independent clinical, translational, or basic science research.
