Associate assignments may be temporary, part-time and/or on-call and may be immediate or as needed. The Sonoma County Junior College District does not offer 'remote only' assignments. Compensation/Benefits Assignments are made on a part-time, hourly basis. A part-time faculty assignment may not exceed a total of 67% of an annual full-time assignment. Key Duties and Responsibilities Provide excellent instruction and faculty support to students, which may include evening, weekend, online or hybrid and/or off-campus assignments. Provide academic assistance and related services to students during scheduled office hours. Responsibilities Development and delivery of a portion of the curriculum, including exam item writing and proctoring Prepares for and teaches courses every semester Develop an assessment plan to ensure course effectiveness Mentorship of Touro University Radiologic Technology (RT) students Plan and conduct academic advisement sessions Provide service on College and University committees Attend and participate in departmental meetings Participate in continuing education activities Perform other faculty duties as appropriate and determined by the program director or dean Provide reports and other documents as requested by program director or dean Qualifications The applicant should be committed to the support and development of the next generation of enthusiastic diagnostic Radiologic Technologists (Rad Techs). This would include (but not necessarily limited to) developing and implementing course curriculum and functioning as instructional leader for the Rad Tech program. Baccalaureate or Master's degree from an accredited college or university preferred. Certified by the CDPH-RHB and/or the ARRT. Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience as a registered Radiologic Technologist (RT). Teaching experience preferred. Strong commitment to the professional development of Radiologic Technology (RT). Excellent interpersonal relationship and communication skills. Active participation in professional societies at the local, state, and/or national levels, including the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) preferred. Personal integrity.
