About the Department of Nursing:
The Department of Nursing at Elon University enrolled the first cohorts of BSN and ABSN students in 2021. The program has two entry points, a 16-month ABSN track and a traditional 4-year BSN track. The program is fully approved by the NC Board of Nursing and holds national accreditation with the NLN CNEA.
Currently, the department has 12 full-time, highly qualified faculty and is supported by a program assistant, a clinical education coordinator, and a clinical education specialist. The department is housed within the School of Health Sciences and has access to a state-of-the-art interprofessional simulation center with two CHSE certified simulationists. Clinical sites are utilized at Cone Health, UNC Health Systems, Duke Health, Novant Health, and Atrium Health within the Greensboro, Burlington, Winston-Salem, and Raleigh/Durham areas.

Description of Responsibilities and Duties

The Department of Nursing at Elon University enrolled the first cohorts of BSN and ABSN students in 2021. The program has two entry points, a 16-month ABSN track and a traditional 4-year BSN track. Currently, the department has 12 full-time, highly qualified faculty and is supported by a program assistant, a clinical education coordinator, and a clinical education specialist.
