As an Enforcement and Removal Assistant (OA), at the full performance level you will perform a variety of duties, such as:
* Researching detainee history using multiple sources to establish identity/citizenship and manage detained and non-detained dockets.
* Providing administrative support to managers, supervisors, or staff members by assisting in the day-to-day management of the office's activities.
* Summarizing and tabulating detainee information from various reports and utilizing a variety of databases and automated systems.
* Generating and verifying detainee reports, encounters, charging documents, studies, data quality and create and revise spreadsheets charts, graphs, and presentations.
* Exercising quality control over bond paperwork.

Minimum Qualifications for GS-07
Specialized Experience: You must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-06 level in the Federal service that included experience such as:
* Providing clerical and administrative support to a law enforcement program including preparing travel documents and making travel arrangements for domestic and/or international travel.
* Establishing, tracking, and/or maintaining legal case files.
* Preparing legal documents, including warrants and records of proceedings.
* Reviewing bond cases to determine status and identify next course of action (e.g., to continue, cancel, or breach) for supervisory review.
Minimum Qualifications for GS-08
Specialized Experience: You must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 level in the Federal service that included experience such as:
* Maintaining and reviewing docket files.
* Collecting and analyzing data from law enforcement databases.
* Researching detainee history using multiple sources to establish identity and citizenship.
* Coordinating escorts and transportation associated with deportation or removal activities.
* Reviewing bond cases to determine status and taking appropriate action to continue, cancel, or breach.
Typing Requirement
In addition to meeting the minimum qualification requirements, you must show possession of the ability to type at least 40 words per minute based on a 5-minute sample, with three or fewer errors. You may self-certify your proficiency in the Occupational Questionnaire.

Your first year is considered to be a probationary period including the BCC (seven-weeks training in our academy course, this training is eligible for college credit towards your degree), classroom training, online courses, health and fitness classes, force skills training, and a comprehensive Field Training Evaluation Program (FTEP). BCC is certified by the Department of Public Safety and Standards Training (DPSST). For the duration of the probationary period, work hours, shifts, and days off will vary based on the needs of the institution.
All Correctional Officer positions are union represented - training, work hours, breaks, days off, etc. will be determined by your institution's labor contract. Once the probationary period is completed, work shifts and days off may be subject to a bid process in accordance with the applicable labor contract.

Nature of the Work
As a Correctional Officer, you will work in a team setting to maintain order within the institutions, enforcing rules and regulations while providing care to ensure safety and security. Cell checks and searches of adults in custody and their living quarters for contraband, settling disputes, and enforcing discipline are often required. POSITION: Administrative Assistant

Position Overview:
The Executive Assistant provides high-level support to the branch, including duties such as calendar management, successful coordination of business meetings, and maintaining contact with all new clients. This role exercises independent judgment in the resolution of administrative needs while prioritizing and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Job Responsibilities:
Manage the branch calendar and schedule a variety of business meetings.
Handle all phone and electronic communication.
Arrange travel and reservations for out-of-town employees, as needed.
Compose well-organized, structured and grammatically accurate memos and emails.
Use various software applications to keep the entire team informed on clients and deals, such as spreadsheets and relational databases.
Maintain constant contact with clients to ensure that the appropriate documentation is being submitted.
Handle gifting programs for the branch.
Manage and maintain all marketing plans for the branch; assist with special events planning.
Qualifications and Skills:
Associates Degree or greater, preferred.
3+ years of experience as an executive administrative assistant at a management level setting.
Excellent communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
