Job Overview:
The Seasonal Administrative Support Colleague (SASC) supports the Manager Business Administration (MBA) and the Colleague/Customer Experience, executes store administrative functions and supports the People Strategy. The SASC is both customer and colleague facing and has responsibility for providing a great customer experience and delivering high touch organization and communication skills that support total store and HR initiatives and functions.

Qualifications and Competencies:

+ Responsible for ensuring integrity and accuracy of all patient data entered into computer system. .
+ Review charts for completion and signature before coded/closed. Assign appropriate ICD-10, CPT-4 codes and modifiers as appropriate. Inform Team Lead of any coding irregularities or trends contrary to policies.
+ Work in conjunction with Billing Department to appeal insurance denials for optimal reimbursement.
Qualifications:
+ High school; Diploma or Equivalent is required.
+ CPC/CPC-H certification through AAPC is required and to be maintained.
+ Minimum of 3 years of medical office or insurance industry experience is required.
+ An excellent working knowledge of personal computers, word-processing and spreadsheet software (such as the Microsoft Excel and Word) is required as well as excellent keyboarding skills. Experience with medical recordkeeping, billing systems, effective filing systems and other office procedures and terminology.
+ Strong problem-solving skills are required.
+ Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written skills.
+ Must be HIPAA compliant at all times.
+ Candidate must be computer competent as the Department has electronic workflow and position includes creating accurate reports.
+ Flexibility is a must to accommodate cross training.

Job Overview:
