The Program Support Specialist is responsible for administrative support for the Post Professional Programs in the Department of Physical Therapy. The position requires the individual to work independently with minimal supervision and to work effectively as part of a team. The position is part time for 25 hours per week.
Essential Functions
:

Work closely with the Director of Post Professional Programs in supporting Post Professional Faculty teaching in an online platform. Assist the department's Post Professional and certificate programs and CEU's. (Support the Directors of the PhD, Orthopaedic Residency and Health Management and Leadership Programs with admission, registration, student communication and other tasks as needed. Correspond, advise, and guide foreign-educated and domestic students through the Transitional DPT program. Assist foreign-educated students with selecting course material in the Transitional DPT Program that covers credentialing deficits and requirements Maintain Canvas, databases, process student matriculations, registrations and additional requirements as requested.

  • Perform general office duties such as copying, filing, faxing, sorting mail, supplies, and maintaining the cleanliness of office area.
  • Responsible for light typing, basic document preparation, data entry, and may manage mass mailing projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred and/or a minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience working with senior leadership in a medical or scientific research setting or comparable technology-oriented business environment preferred.
