  1. Administrative Tech 2 (Asset Data Reconciliation) - The Contractor shall:
    1. work with the UNS Hardware Asset Management team and Asset Management process owner to improve the data accuracy, currency, completeness and quality of asset and inventory information stored in IRS' system of record asset inventory database, HP Asset Manager.
    2. execute reconciliation of the Asset Management data associated with UNS' Investment Management Plans (IMPs) to ensure that all required Asset Management updates are posted to KISAM and that there is full alignment between the Asset Management information in the IMPs and HP Asset Manager.
    3. work with UNS Hardware Asset Management team to develop a plan of action to identify and target uncontrolled IT equipment for physical inventory verification.
    4. lead a team of Contractor technicians and provide direction and oversight to conduct targeted physical inventories at specified IRS locations to validate, confirm, and correct asset data discrepancies in the IRS' authoritative asset inventory database, HP Asset Manager to improve asset demographic information such as location, assigned user, and status.
    5. execute data reconciliation/normalization of HP Asset Manager.
    6. assemble and document the data using best practice structured and normalized open format methods allowing for ease of use intuitive functions such as query, datamining, indexing, categorization, search and crawl, and reporting.

Our Senior Systems Support Technician supervises Information Systems support staff and handles the configuration/installation of hardware and application software. The scale and complexity of our plant's computer network system requires a motivated and skilled leader to direct maintenance and upgrades. This is not an entry level technician role.

What You'll Do:
Analyze and recommend software, hardware, and usage of new and existing database and computer equipment
Assist Information Systems Manager in prioritization of project backlog
Design and develop information systems protocol and procedures and assist in data systems application development and/or deployment
Diagnose failures and arrange for repairs of computer, hardware, software, and related equipment
Plan, arrange, and install additions to plant network, mainframe terminals, other data and communication devices, or related support equipment, including maintenance on computer hardware and software systems
Develop and maintain written standards for the configuration of the plant PC network and PC workstations
Design, implement, and audit data backup procedures and schedules for computers and data systems
Conduct or arrange user training for new or upgraded software or new users
Maintain work areas in a clean, neat, and orderly manner
Manage supply and spare parts inventory levels at economical levels to minimize equipment downtime
Establish and maintain cabling, software licensing, warranty history, and equipment inventory records
