Position Summary:
The Resource Development Administrator serves as the central coordinator for the agency's fundraising and grant development efforts, providing strategic and administrative support to the Board of Directors and the Executive Director. This position ensures strong fiscal management of all fundraising activities through accurate tracking, reporting, and stewardship, while also leading donor communication planning, goal monitoring, and engagement in campaign-related events. The Administrator oversees the full grant lifecycle by maintaining report calendars, supporting data tracking systems, ensuring timely submissions, and monitoring grant-funded positions and sustainability commitments. In partnership with program, fiscal, and research staff, the role contributes to high-quality grant writing and budget development, maintains required registrations, and cultivates internal and external partnerships-leveraging letters of support, matching resources, and blended funding opportunities. Overall, the position ensures that the agency's resource development strategies are aligned, data-informed, and positioned for long-term success.
Job Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:
Assist the Board of Directors for the KDOC Institute and the Executive Director to oversee the fiscal management of all fundraising efforts, ensuring accurate tracking, reporting, and stewardship of campaign resources. Responsibilities include developing and implementing a comprehensive donor communication plan to support ongoing engagement, transparency, and retention. The position will also monitor fundraising goals, analyze progress toward targets, and prepare regular updates for leadership and stakeholders. In addition, the individual will actively participate in events and activities related to fundraising campaigns, representing the organization and supporting efforts to cultivate and strengthen donor relationships.
For awarded grants, establish a tracking calendar/system to ensure reports are timely submitted. Work with grant project staff to establish data tracking and grant reporting as required, and ensure reports are timely accomplished. Track grant-funded positions and resources to ensure commitments to sustain are addressed timely. Prepare quarterly reports to leadership and management regarding grants currently awarded and to be pursued.
Work with staff to assist in writing grants, taking the lead in writing when appropriate, and supporting other staff when appropriate. Ensure grants submitted are high quality, timely submitted, and comply with all the requirements of the grantee. Maintain registrations as necessary so grants can be submitted. Ensure that grant applications include in the budgets when allowed funds to support fiscal and project management staff to manage the fiscal and project management work of the grants. Consult with fiscal on budgets to ensure they accurately reflect the cost of staff and services requested in the grant. Develop partnerships within and without the department to support grant applications, developing opportunities for letters of support, memoranda of agreement, matching funds or services, and funding blending opportunities.
Work closely with research to identify data trends needed when writing grants consistent with the grant plan and establish a method for quickly accessing data when preparing a grant application.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of two years of experience in grant writing, fundraising, resource development, or financial administration. Education may be substituted for experience as determined relevant by the agency.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of basic accounting or budget principles sufficient to support fiscal oversight of fundraising and grant-funded projects.
Degree in public administration, business administration, nonprofit management, communications, finance, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be substituted for education as determined relevant by the agency.
Strong written communication skills, including the ability to produce clear, accurate, and compliant grant applications and donor communications.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines, maintain tracking systems, and ensure timely submission of reports.
Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external partners, including program staff, fiscal offices, donors, and community organizations.
Strong organizational and project-management skills, with demonstrated attention to detail.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), grant management systems, or similar platforms.

Required:• Associate's degree in network management or a related field• Meet DoD 8570.01-m baseline computing environment (CE) certification requirements at information assurance technical level II (IAT II)• Network+ certification• Two (2) years of experience in network architecture design, and implementation• Basic knowledge in network planning, troubleshooting and maintenance• Basic knowledge of network hardware and software components; strong understanding of technology integration, information flow, configuration and implementation of LAN, WAN, DNS, DHCP; firewalls and security; and storage and backup methodologies
