An admission evaluator determines the eligibility of applicants for admission into a university or college. You are in charge of checking student documents and their profile and help the schools to enter the students' data into the system. You will also be required to assist admission supervisors in the process of the admission application. You will provide applicants with the university or college's rules and regulations alongside the penalties if they fail to adhere to the instructions. You will issue registration forms and record acceptance fees and every other necessary fee paid. It is expected of an admission evaluator to advise students and their families in respect to educational opportunities, admission, and other requirements.
To be qualified for this job, you need a bachelor's degree in social sciences, languages, and some experience as an admission evaluator. Admission evaluators are expected to be organized, can multitask, and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. You are also expected to have an analytical mind and be knowledgeable about the college admission process. Admission evaluators earn an average of $67,000 annually.
