The Clinical Evaluator role exists within Sinclair Community College and the Veterinary Technology Department per the CVTEA who mandates that only Sinclair Community College employee's evaluate veterinary technology students on their critical performance skills. These 150+ skills need to be proficient by graduation.
The Clinical Evaluator has a student for 14 hours a week (8 week sessions) in the summer and fall terms and 25 hours a week for spring term. This responsibility is on top of their full-time working hours and occurs in offsite clinical spaces. The goal is for the successful completion of the students essential skills. This position will report directly to the Clinical Evaluator.
This is a part-time/hourly position. The hourly pay rate is minimum wage, in accordance with applicable local and state regulations.

Principal Accountabilities
* Critiques, grades, and mentors the students with regards to their essential skills and their vet tech profession
* Includes, but not limited to surgical preparation and assisting, anesthesia monitoring, radiology, phlebotomy, laboratory procedures, and client relations
* Serves as a mentor and "teacher" while the student is at their place of employment
* Works closely with the department to improve policies and student learning
* Interview, observe, and evaluate potential clinical evaluators before hire
* Speak to past and present students on the potential evaluator to ensure that their clinical practices are in line with those at Sinclair Community College and the CVTEA
* Attend an annual evaluator meeting/orientation on campus
Requirements
* Must have a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine with a current license to practice or be a Registered Veterinary Technician in the state of Ohio with an active license

The Next Gen Coordinator leads and implements student ministry (grades 6-12) at the Sawmill Campus. This full-time role is responsible for recruiting and equipping high-capacity volunteers, shaping age-appropriate programming, and discipling the next generation in alignment with the mission and values of Vineyard Columbus.
Key Responsibilities
Student Ministry Leadership (Primary Focus)
Oversee leadership of all student programming (weekly middle and high school programming, including Student Night, Middle and High School Sunday morning programming).

Equip and empower volunteer leaders to disciple students, lead small groups, and serve in significant ministry roles.

We are seeking a compassionate and organized Volunteer Coordinator to join our hospice care team. In this vital role, you will recruit, train, supervise, and support volunteers who provide essential services to patients and families. As a key member of the interdisciplinary team, you will be the voice and advocate for volunteers while ensuring the program aligns with federal hospice regulations and community needs.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise all volunteer activity within the designated service area.
Maintain compliance with the Medicare Hospice Conditions of Participation 5% volunteer requirement.
Assess patient and family needs for volunteer services and coordinate appropriate placements.
Recruit, train, and retain Administrative, Direct Care, Vigil, and Bereavement volunteers.
Facilitate volunteer orientation and annual training requirements.
Ensure completion of health screening requirements (e.g., TB tests, health questionnaires).
Serve as liaison between volunteers and staff to promote strong communication.
Represent the volunteer program at interdisciplinary team meetings and in the community.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date volunteer records, including visit documentation, evaluations, and monthly statistics.
Participate in the hospice's quality assessment and performance improvement activities.
Support volunteers with regular communication and mentoring.
Serve as a backup volunteer when needed.
Assist with reviewing and updating volunteer policies and procedures.
About You
Qualifications - What You'll Bring:
CPR certification required
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance required
Deep understanding of hospice philosophy and the emotional needs of terminally ill patients and their families
Ability to build rapport with volunteers, staff, and community partners
Strong organizational and record-keeping abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in public speaking and group facilitation
Flexible, empathetic, and capable of working independently and collaboratively
Competent in Microsoft Office and other basic office equipment
Preferred Experience (Not Required):
Bachelor's degree preferred or at least four years of related experience
Previous experience in healthcare, hospice, or volunteer administration

Responsibilities:

Summary

Foster student involvement in student organizations and student research events related to the career and professional development. Provide advising services to medical students and attend medical student events that meet the scheduling needs of busy medical students, which includes evening and weekend hours on a routine basis.
Residency Application Support: Counsel and advise students on in preparation for their ERAS applications. This includes but is not limited to:
* Providing CV/resume MATCH content review
* Review personal statements
* Generate individual medical student performance evaluation (MSPE) report for specific student cohort

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with academic partners, faculty, alumni and other constituents in developing activities and events that strengthen career preparation for medical students.

Conduct assessments to identify participant's interests, skills, strengths, and barriers

Provide guidance in choosing higher education/training programs, facilitate enrollment, and track academic progress over the course of the program through monthly check-ins
Facilitate financial assistance for training, and other supportive services through case management
