Inputs A/R notes with pertinent data needed for accurate billing of client accounts. Keeping clients/or family of clients informed of plan changes. Daily Insurance verification by assigned guarantor. Maintains a daily report log.

Work Environment/Physical Demands: This job operates in a professional office environment. May require prolonged sitting or standing, some bending and stretching and requires the ability to lift files. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate frequently used standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, and filing cabinets and fax machine. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare and communicate appropriate reports. Responsible for gathering payment data, keeping accurate records of patient interactions for both scheduled and unscheduled admissions. Is subject to frequent interruptions. Contact may involve dealing with angry or upset people, work may be stressful at times. Staff must remain flexible and available to provide staffing assistance for any/all disaster or emergency situations.

Position Type, Expected Hours of Work and Travel: This is a full-time position, and the expected work hours are 40 hours per week with some expanded work schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays during high volume times of the department.

The Office of Admissions is responsible for the marketing, recruitment, and orientation of new undergraduate MSU students. The Office of Admissions is also responsible for upholding the Board of Regents and Montana University System admission requirements, policies, and procedures regarding applications for admission, residency, acceptance of transfer credits, and other enrollment-related issues.
Duties and Responsibilities

Serve as the first point of contact for prospective students and their families.
Provide accurate and specific information regarding MSU's admission policies and procedures, recruitment events, and general campus knowledge to prospective students, the general public, faculty, and staff.
Collect, enter and maintain prospective student information in the MSU database (Banner).
Resolve conflict situations tactfully and professionally.
Disseminate vital information accurately and efficiently over the phone, by email, and in person.
Assist the Campus Visit Coordinators with special projects, as needed.

Required Qualifications - Experience, Education, Knowledge & Skills

High school graduation or G.E.D plus progressively responsible entry to mid-level administrative support and/or clerical experience in a customer service-oriented position or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.

Demonstrated experience providing exceptional, consistent, and positive customer service in an office or professional setting and effectively communicating detailed information and directions clearly and accurately, in person, by phone, and through business correspondence to a wide variety of individuals.
Demonstrated experience using personal computers and software, such as word processing, spreadsheets, electronic calendars, and email.
Demonstrated experience composing, formatting, and proofing grammar, punctuation, and spelling of business correspondence and general office materials as well as following established instructions and procedures with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Provides admission support to pharmacists, nursing staff, and physicians by gathering and recording a valid home medication list.
Work Schedule: PRN Rotating

Responsibilities:

+ Interviews patients and family members to compile a valid list of patient's home medications upon admission and perform verification and clarification of documents with the Pharmacist.

+ Communicates with retail pharmacies, primary care physicians, and other resources to gather information and recognize and apply knowledge of appropriate/specific drugs within scope.

+ Assists department and bedded units to identify and resolve patient safety issues related to medication use and admission medication list.

+ Records information in the patients EHR in a timely manner and maintains accurate data involving patient information.

+ Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

Requirements:

+ Minimum Required Education: High School diploma or GED.

The pay range for this position is: $20.87 - $27.13 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.
