The Opportunity
We are looking for a dynamic Strategic Sourcing Director to bring deep category, strategic sourcing and industry expertise to lead cross functional teams and initiatives. This person will work closely with business leaders to implement spend management strategies that deliver big savings, streamline operations and improve internal customer satisfaction.
Reporting to the Head of Global Strategic Sourcing, this person will lead teams of category managers covering over $2B in annual spend across Marketing and Corporate Services categories. The category scope includes Media, Agency, Events, Content Production, Facilities, Real Estate, Construction, Professional Services, Contingent Labor and Benefits.
What you'll Do
Develop internal customer relationships to better understand their priorities and requirements.
Engage with internal clients and be responsible for the development of category strategies and plans that align with their needs while delivering savings to the organization.
Lead cross-functional sourcing teams and initiatives from strategy development through sourcing, contracting and implementation.
Develop organizational and team member capabilities, particularly in category management and strategic sourcing processes.
Define and implement process improvements that increase customer happiness, reduce cycle time and deliver efficiency gains while ensuring compliance with policies and mitigating supplier risk.
What you need to succeed
Demonstrated expertise in strategic sourcing for Marketing and Services categories at a global scale and within a fast paced, and dynamic organization is required.
Demonstrated knowledge of Corporate Services categories at a global and local level is also preferred.
Proven track record in developing collaborative, highly effective, strategic and tactical relationships with diverse customer groups across all levels.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills.
A demonstrated track record of facilitating and influencing decision-making that aligns the interests of diverse teams.
Outstanding ability to collaborate with business partners and teams in defining and implementing category strategies at scale.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $153,800 -- $301,050 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. **Job Responsibilities:**
+ Design of mechanical parts and assemblies, including 3D CAD modeling; 2D drawing drafting, review, revision, and release; selection of components and materials; support of trade studies
+ Communicating with suppliers and customers to exchange technical information.
+ Coordinating with supply chain regarding supplier changes, cost reductions, process improvements, and changing suppliers.
+ Coordinating with manufacturing regarding design and process improvements.
+ Collaborating with other functional areas on various aspects of product design/documentation, including procurement, production, logistics, or configuration management.
+ Hands-on troubleshooting, inspection, or assembly of parts/subsystems in support of prototyping, production, or test.
+ Performing tolerance stack up analysis and authoring reports documenting them.
+ Collaborating with analysis teams who are responsible for performing mass properties, structural, thermal, and materials/processes reports.
+ Creating and delivering engineering briefings or reports to support design review activities.
+ Tracking & reporting task status.
+ Assist team to develop/document best practices.
+ Resolve NCs and guide team members on NC resolution.
**Basic Qualifications are:**
+ Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant STEM discipline and 12 years of related engineering experience; OR Master of Science (MS) degree in a relevant STEM discipline and 10 years of related engineering experience; OR a PhD in a STEM discipline and 8 years of related engineering experience.
+ Experience resolving NCs, creating drawings in accordance with ANSI Y14.5 (GD&T) standards and generating tolerance stack up analysis.
+ Experience designing primary and secondary composite aircraft parts/components, assemblies, and installations.
+ Knowledge of environmental testing and hardware performance validation, including structural and thermal analysis.
+ Experience designing for MIL-STD-810 testing requirements.
+ Experience with the packaging of electronics assemblies.
+ Experience creating 3D parametric models using any industry-standard 3D CAD package such as Creo (preferred).
+ Experience using any industry-standard Product Lifecycle Management systems such as TeamCenter.
+ Experience with design for manufacturing and assembly (DFMA).
+ Experience with designing for EMI sensitive environments and material selection.
+ Ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret Clearance/ U.S. citizenship required

You will be responsible for all aircraft low observable outer mold line structures, materials and applications. Prepare composite or metallic surfaces for coating applications by performing various operations such as sanding, stripping, applying vacuum, performing porosity testing, masking and other preparation tasks. Mix and apply sealants, gap fillers and any other required processes prior to paint which may require the use of heating devices. Mix and apply paints and other coatings at the proper spraying consistency. Apply additional surface details to manufacturer specifications. Perform or coordinate component-level testing for specification compliance after applications have been completed. May perform similar duties in aircraft build, modification or maintenance role.
Basic Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent and 6 years additional education and/or related experienced.

Accept customer furnished quarters for a period up to 180 days away from primary work location.

Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Fire Protection Engineer for the Space Park site located in Redondo/Manhattan Beach, California. This position will be part of the Environmental, Safety, Health and Medical (ESHM) team for the Western Region and will focus on leading site fire prevention, explosive and ordinance safety, and other compliance safety programs across the entire western region. The Fire Protection Engineer will develop and implement fire protection programs and procedures aimed at reducing risk of personnel injury and/or property damage due to fire and explosion. In addition, they will also develop and implement explosive/ordinance safety programs to maintain the site's ATF commercial explosive license. This position will require close coordination with several internal organizations including facilities, programs, functional support groups and risk and insurance departments as well as external agency and government fire protection organizations.
Key roles and responsibilities include:
Reviewing and approving design reviews for new buildings and manufacturing processes.
Review fire protection system alarm plans and documents to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local codes, and insurer requirements.
Evaluation of fire and explosion hazards associated with additive manufacturing, combustible metal powders, and laboratory operations.
Assessment and approval of lithium-ion battery storage, charging, and testing areas in accordance with NFPA 855 and applicable manufacturer guidance.
Final inspection and approval of new/retrofit installations including fire alarms, hydro tests, foam system tests, and emergency lights.
Providing oversight to facilities groups and auditing performance of fire suppression and alarm system inspection and maintenance programs.
Facilitating insurance (AXA XL GAPS), internal audits and Fire Department inspections of fire prevention programs and systems.
Facilitating investigations of fire related incidents including Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) assessments.
Developing and updating fire related pre-fire plans and master plans.
Developing and providing subject matter expertise on training for fire and life safety systems.
Knowledge of applicable NFPA standards including NFPA 13, 25, 30, 33, 45, 70, 70E, and 72, as well as DOD and local fire code requirements.
Ability to develop and deliver training for technical and non-technical personnel on fire protection and life safety topics.
Hazardous material review and usage approval.
Oversee site explosives management program (ATF Responsible Person)
Competent authority to manage a safety program under the DOD 4145 requirement.
Reviewing and approving fire and life safety systems impairment requests and utility outage requests.
Supporting other environmental, safety and health programs as needed, including Fall Protection, Elevated Work Platforms, Powered Industrial Truck.
Participates in fire fighter and first aid/CPR training.
Administration of Hot Work Permitting and Utility Outage programs in accordance with local code requirements and insurance company guidance.
Chemical/material review as part of the Chemical Review Process
Cross-site [Sector] coordination
Member of the Crisis Management Team.
Member of the Emergency Response Team.
Basic Qualifications Level 2:
Bachelor's Degree in Fire Protection Administration & Technology or similar and 2 years of fire prevention program management or related experience or Master's Degree in a related field and 0 years of experience.
Knowledge of fire prevention codes such as NFPA, IFC and California Fire Code.
Ability to obtain and maintain Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms Responsible Person Certification for explosives.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).
