Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a detailed business sales plan to strategically solicit, grow and maintain strong relationships with mortgage Brokers/Bankers while travelling within an assigned territory.
Demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge and applicability of loan programs, policies and procedures to articulate competitive differentiators and a value proposition.
Enter data into and maintain a customer relationship manager (CRM) for sales and marketing initiatives to prospective accounts and existing client base.
Identify and qualify new opportunities, conduct on-site visits of prospective accounts' premises, and manage the Broker approval and recertification process.
Market A&D Mortgage and give presentations to potential partners (primarily in person at the clients' place of business) explaining and educating our unique opportunities.
On-board new clients and present educational training and updates regarding loan products & programs, policies, procedures and technology.
Set expectations and understanding of loan process for submission, underwriting, locks, closing, and funding.
Cultivate both internal and external relationships to effectively manage customer expectations.
Travel to clients' locations on a regular basis to review their needs, resolve any issues and to promote new products and opportunities.
Evaluate borrower scenarios to determine qualification under our guidelines.
Monitor pipeline performance daily, including tracking monthly lock, submitted and funded volume, pull-through ratios, and loan quality.
Collaborate with key stakeholders on challenges and issues; and deliver professional resolution. Serve as liaison between clients and operations team.
Provide ongoing customer, competitor and market intelligence to Sales Management team.
Maintain familiarity with legal, regulatory, and company policies and procedures, including attending industry educational seminars.
Attend and engage in trade shows and other industry events.
Qualifications
5+ years of mortgage sales experience.
Proven production history and established client base preferred.
Strong working knowledge of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and Government lending practices.
Excellent networking, relationship building and negotiation skills.
