Opportunity at a Glance
Under general supervision, determine student applicants' admissibility to the University. Evaluate transcripts and award transfer of credit based on standards and guidelines developed by the schools; provide decisions to appropriate administrative offices. Reviews admission requirements, policies and procedures, transfer of credit, and related issues.
Responsibilities
* Reviews all applications and administers the admissions decisions process as developed and defined by the individual Schools.
* Special admissions cases and requests for exceptions to policies will be reviewed by the Manager of Admissions, and in ambiguous cases, the Faculty Chair/Dean will make the final determination.
* Awards transfer of credit based on standards and guidelines developed by the schools; provides decisions to appropriate administrative offices.
* Prepares official determination regarding admissions and transfer of credit for review.
* Provides unofficial assessment of transfer of credit for prospective students. Reviews admission requirements, policies and procedures, transfer of credit, and related issues.
* Responds to inquiries from faculty and internal student service groups.
* Supervises the transcription of transfer awards into the student information system once official evaluations are completed.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
* Complies with all policies and standards.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree.
* 2+ years Higher Ed experience within an Admission, Academic Advising, or Registrar Office.
* Ability to evaluate student transcripts and records.
* Skill in the use of computerized systems and databases.

In this role, the clinical instructor:
* Implements the College's philosophy, curriculum, program outcomes, and course objectives through clinical teaching and service to the College, community, health system and profession

Qualifications

The Seminary Director oversees co-curricular programming, church engagement, and operations for the seminary's main campus facility. The ideal candidate will be able to serve as Chair of the Doctor of Ministry (DMin) program. The Director reports to the seminary's Assistant Dean and works closely with the Dean and faculty to incorporate and integrate all academic, spiritual, and practical aspects of the seminary's curricular and co-curricular programming.
The Director will manage events, host local pastors and guests, coordinate activities, and oversee classroom environments and student workers within the main campus seminary facility. This position provides leadership and hospitality in the development of strategic relationships with local churches and ministries in alignment with the mission and commitment of the seminary to serve the ecclesial community. Leadership of the DMin program will entail oversight of all aspects of a new doctoral program including chairing the DMin Admissions Committee; assistance in training and supporting faculty and mentors within the program; student communication and support; and collaboration with the Assistant Dean in maintaining the curriculum.
This 12-month position is administrative but entails a teaching load, primarily at the graduate level, related to practical ministry and pastoral leadership. While most courses will be taught in the traditional ground classroom, willingness and ability to teach some online courses is important. Committee work, course/program development, and other types of faculty service will be expected.

Grand Canyon University is currently seeking a part-time Graduate Assistant to support the Campus Recreation department with Intramural Sports. Under the supervision of the Intramural Manager and Intramural Assistant Manager, the Graduate Assistant for Intramural Sports will assist in the day-to-day operations and supervision of the program. Help assist the planning and promoting of all Intramural Sports programs, and help train and evaluate the undergraduate student staff that works for the Intramural Sports department!
This position is part-time and will be required to work 29 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
Supervise Intramural activities that take place in the evenings and some weekends.
Provide assistance in planning and supervising intramural sports activities.
Training and evaluation of student officiating skills and mechanics.
Help in scheduling the intramural student workers and supervisors in their weekly game assignments.
Take inspection and inventory of Intramural equipment to ensure that needs are being met and all equipment is safe and ready for use, and report any issues to the Intramural Manager for follow up.
Assist in marketing intramural programs that may include helping with social media strategies and researching and implementing new marketing trends to help grow student involvement.
Assist in the hiring of Intramural sport officials and Intramural sports supervisors.
Research new program ideas that could be implemented into intramural sports.
Listen and respond to student participation feedback, questions or concerns.
All other tasks assigned by Intramural Assistant Manager, Manager, or Director of Campus Recreation.
Qualifications:
Must be accepted and enrolled into graduate program: MBA, MED, MS (Leadership) or MS (Organizational Leadership and Entrepreneurship).
Must be able to maintain academic GPA of 3.0.
Must have a strong background in officiating sports
Knowledge of operation procedures of recreational facilities.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Must be able to pass a background check.
Must be able to lawfully accept employment in the U.S.
Work during normal business hours, maximum of 29 hours per week.

Purpose within the Organization: The purpose of this position is to assist GCU Fitness under the department of Campus Recreation in leading weekly fitness classes for the GCU community. This position will also include working at weekly and monthly fitness events on campus throughout the semester.

A 10 minute in-person fitness class audition.
A short interview to discuss job qualifications and fitness experience.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for leading both indoor and outdoor weekly fitness classes on campus.
Responsible for programming workouts, checking in participants, and making sure class runs smoothly.
Promote and encourage involvement in the GCU Fitness community on campus.
Current in the latest fitness trends.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the fitness class space in all Campus Recreation facilities.

At this time, we are looking for instructors to teach Yoga, Barre, Zumba, and Spin.
Looking for applicants who are comfortable and confident in teaching more than one fitness format.
Certified, in the process of becoming certified, majoring in Exercise Science, or experience leading a certain fitness format.
Current American Red Cross CPR/AED and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain certification.
Maintain GCU's standard for an acceptable GPA.
Provide emergency care/response if necessary, upon public safety's arrival.
Strong organizational skills.
Mature, dependable, friendly, and punctual.
Willingness to work, learn, and be flexible.
