About this role: Access intake clinicians are responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and referring new clients to the agency. You will be the first clinician that new clients will interact with and be an essential piece of helping clients understand and begin their recommended treatment. Clinicians will maintain communication with treatment teams and provide a warm hand-off. Facilitating a 4-week group therapy program bridging the gap between intake and ongoing individual services is a voluntary service clinicians can provide in exchange for fewer weekly intakes. The Location and hours: A&C is based in Central Indiana. For this position, we service the following counties: Marion and Johnson Hours are M-F 8:30-5pm with flexible scheduling available. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Conduct intake assessments Provide crisis and emergency intervention services Provide case management services related to clients seen for intakes including complete timely documentation, CANS/ANSA Assessments, and referral to treatment teams and outside agencies Requirements Master's degree and license eligible in Indiana Two years of clinical experience LMHC, LCSW, LCAC or LMFT preferred but not required Must hold a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record and provide own, insured, transportation Some Key Benefits to Highlight: We offer full clinical supervision for licensure.     Virtual Care is part of the larger Nursing Informatics team - reporting to Michelle Charles, SVP. Informatics focuses on the use of technology in the care of patients, as well as data analysis. The Virtual Care team is seeking an intern who will work in a hybrid of remote (local to Fort Wayne only) and on-site at the hospitals and the Business & Technology Center. Remote work will involve the use of a Parkview provided laptop to assist with data gathering, validation, and analysis. The various project work experienced as an intern provides a great opportunity to learn about healthcare and will prepare them for future roles. The intern will receive training on the technology used in the hospital and department which the Virtual Care team supports, such as iPhones, iPads, video equipment, etc. Once trained, the intern may go to the hospital units helping to support the use of these devices or other technologies (working alongside other Virtual Care team members). The intern may be involved in observing and assisting with the implementation of new processes. For remote work, the intern may complete chart audits, gather data, create reports, and assist the teams with other similar tasks. Actual duties will depend upon the project work at that time. Students will need to have knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, specifically Excel. Background in data analysis and data visualization is a plus. Students should be willing and able to assist the Virtual Care team in providing technical and workflow support in the hospital/department setting following training.
