JOB SUMMARY
The Young Adults Minister will be responsible for coordinating and leading Young Adult services, events, community groups, outreach opportunities, and community relationships. Responsibility for recruiting, onboarding, training, and empowering Dream Team volunteers. Also provides pastoral care for our adults and Dream Team volunteers. Manages the budget, receipts and calendar for the Young Adult Ministry.

POSITION SPECIFIC ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Ministry: Responsible for leading Young Adult services, community groups and events. Reaches, connects, disciples and empowers young adults to serve at BattleCreek Church.
Campus Support: Collaborates and works with all BattleCreek campuses for outreach and connection to young adults at their campuses.
Administrative Support: Oversees Young Adult Ministry tasks such as reconciling credit card, maintaining budget spreadsheets, ensuring needs are organized and well communicated to staff, Dream Team and young adults.
NextGen: Assists NextGen events as needed.
All other duties as assigned by the Downtown Campus Pastor.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Four year degree/ education or equivalent in related discipline, preferred.
- At least 5 years’ experience gained through increasing positions within discipline, preferred.
- Specialized training and/or experience as related to areas of essential function, preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position operated in a professional office environment but may require the following physical demands: general lifting of materials up to 20 pounds, bending kneeling, carrying, walking, and using hands/fingers to handle items. May include days where hours sitting at a computer are needed. Ability to acclimate to weather for outdoor events as needed.
