**About the role:**
The Hardware Design Librarian curates, develops, reviews, and helps publish ECAD content that meets industry standards and customer requirements. You'll partner closely with component and semiconductor manufacturers to understand their data sources, formats, and distribution mechanisms, and you'll support Altium to optimize content integration. + **ECAD Content Publishing:** Curate, develop, review, and assist with publishing ECAD-related design content aligned to industry standards and customer needs.

**Who We're Looking For**
+ Required: Hands-on Altium Designer experience and knowledge of other ECAD tools is a plus

+ Strong understanding of ECAD design and (ideally) CAD models
+ Solid grasp of design principles and workflows
+ Software understanding preferred; fluent at the HW/SW boundary

FULL-TIME POSITION OPEN LIBRARIAN- PUBLIC SERVICES (Grade UJ)
Basic Function: Performs professional library tasks in the public library system.
Distinguishing Features of the Class: The responsibilities of this classification require a thorough knowledge of the principles and practices of library and information science. The distinguishing features of this class include assisting management with design and implementation of strategic initiatives and services, leading and completing complex projects and tasks, direct public service reference and information responsibility, planning and presenting programs to the public, acting in charge in the absence of a manager as assigned, and independently solving routine and complex library problems. May exercise functional supervision over the work of Public Services Professionals, Public Services Associates, and Aides.
Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities:
Assists patrons on the selection, organization, and interpretation of library materials.
Answers reference and information questions and conducts research when needed.
Supervises collection development, including materials selection for one or more specialized subject field.
Serves as a resource to the management team on strategic initiatives and projects.
Assists management with designing library services.
Assists management with the identification of community needs.
Acts as a staff leader in the roll out of new services and initiatives.
Plans and presents various types of programs for all ages.
Gives presentations to community groups.
Represents the library at outside events.
Leads committees.
Plans and prepares displays, bulletin boards, bibliographies, and webliographies.
Exercises functional supervision over PSPs, Library Assistants, and Library Aides as delegated by the manager.
Assists in directing services in a department or branch.
Assists with training new staff.
Conducts and develops system-wide training for all staff as needed.
May oversee services in branch or main library section.
May act as in-charge of a building in the absence of a manager.
Resolves problems and responds to complaints.
Interprets and assures implementation of official library policy.
Monitors and suggests corrections to the online catalog.
Performs circulation functions as needed.
Keeps abreast of current professional trends.
Promotes and maintains a thorough knowledge of library services and programs.
Participates in the activities of professional and related organizations.
Special projects as assigned.
May serve as a certified passport agent.
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Excellent customer service skills required. Knowledge of library services. Thorough knowledge of library science techniques. Knowledge of the community. An ability to assess and meet community and patron needs. Must be team-focused, flexible, and willing to provide service to all ages. Must be inquisitive and eager to learn new things. Comfort and experience leading projects from inception to completion. Excellent time management skills a must. Project management experience preferred.
Education, Training, and Experience:
Requires an MLIS and up to one year of related experience or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
Other: Full-time, 38 hrs./wk. $ 23.61/hr. Excellent benefits. This is a youth focused position. Schedule will include daytime, evening, and weekend hours (including Sundays), and may include six-day workweeks and split shifts. This position plans and presents programs for all ages. Must have a track record of initiative, enthusiasm, and a passion for community engagement. Must be comfortable working in a bilingual community. Ability to speak or understand Spanish a plus. The successful candidate will have excellent attendance habits and be comfortable working as an in-charge person. Flexibility in scheduling required.

Role Mission: IDEA Academy teachers are responsible for ensuring that every IDEA student masters the academic and social skills necessary to succeed in college, while also embodying IDEA's values daily.
In addition, IDEA Academy teachers set ambitious goals for student achievement and invest students and families in accomplishing them; create a powerful learning environment; plan and deliver purposeful, rigorous instruction; assess for mastery and track student progress toward goals; analyze data to intervene and adjust instruction; and seek excellence as an educator and an IDEA team member. Academy ELA content is state assessed in in grades 3rd, 4th, 5th grades. Writing is state assessed in 4th grade.
This position is grant-funded with Accelerate Great Schools funds. This is a grant-funded position and funding may be extended. A grant-funded position has no guarantee of ongoing and indefinite employment. All duties and responsibilities tied to this position are allowable and allocable to the grant. The employee will work solely (100%) on allowable activities outlined in the grant program.

Compensation:
The starting teacher salary for 0 years of experience is $48,500. This role is eligible for various stipends based on certifications, credentials, and campus leadership ranging from $500-$4,000 each. We also offer opportunities and incentives through our Teacher Career Pathway with the potential to earn up to $10,000 in additional compensation. Additional hourly compensation is provided for after school tutoring or Saturday school as assigned.

What You Bring -- Competencies
Qualifications:
High level of content-area proficiency as evidenced by teaching certification, field of study, or work-experience
Education: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year educational institution required
Experience: Experience in a K-12 classroom setting strongly preferred
Licenses or Certifications: Bilingual certification strongly preferred, content and ESL certification preferred (not required)

What You'll Do -- Accountabilities
Responsibilities:
Implement state learning standards and IDEA curricula and assessments to meet ambitious academic expectations
Submit weekly lesson plans two weeks in advance for feedback
Implement formal and informal assessments to track each individual student's progress and learning needs, adjust lesson plans accordingly and update gradebook weekly
Communicate students' progress with student and family on a weekly basis
Effective facilitation and personal use of technology as a communication and educational tool to improve student achievement and manage work related tasks.
Implement a clear and consistent behavior management system that aligns to campus- wide initiatives while developing students' character and sense of community in the classroom

Job Description:
The Carlson Library Safety Monitor(s) will be responsible or helping to maintain safety within Carlson Library. Specific duties will include monitoring the floors to ensure a safe environment for our students; aid in emergency situations such as evacuations, medical emergencies, thefts, etc.; keep Library staff informed of security concerns; file incident reports; aid in nightly closing procedures, ensuring all patrons have vacated and the building is secured.
Position Responsibilities:
• Monitors will walk the floors throughout their shift to maintain a presence in the building.
• Monitors should always present a friendly demeanor, interact with students, and answer directional questions.
• Monitors will understand the library's rules of conduct and aid in their enforcement by explaining the policies to rule breakers.
• Monitors will call 911 for any behavior that may cause injury to others or to the offender, or cause property damage.
• Monitors may contact campus police after repeated warning to stop inappropriate behavior using the non-emergency extension, 530-2601.
• Monitors are to call 911 for any medical emergency.
• Monitors will ensure a University Injury/Illness form is submitted for any injury/illness sustained by an employee or student, even if 911 is not called.
• Internal incident reports must be filled out any time campus police are contacted, and for any incident occurring in the library that the administration should be made aware of.
• Monitors will understand and be prepared to carry out all library emergency procedures as outlined in the Library Emergency Action Plan.
• Understands Title IX policies and procedures and reports incidents appropriately.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Proven history of working with young adults.
• Evidence of effective conflict resolution.
• CPR certification.
• Ability to work well with diverse populations.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior law enforcement experience preferred.
