1996

Friend Finder Networks (FFN) was originally named Various, Inc. and was founded in 1996 by Andrew Conru.

2007

In 2007, the company Various was acquired by the owners of Penthouse magazine, and adopted its current name Friend Finder Networks.

2009

For 2009 FriendFinder Networks generated $330 million in revenue and $103 million in earnings.

2010

Friendfinder Networks expects to complete the IPO rocess by 2010 and to list its common stock on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol "FFN".

2012

FriendFinder Networks plans to launch a new platform for their dating sites in the second quarter of 2012.

2013

The recipient of the 2013 Editor's Top Pick - Sexy Award goes to Passion.com.

Penthouse went on to change it's name to "FriendFinder Networks" (confusing, right?) before going bankrupt in 2013.

2015

Passion.com is the recipient of the 2015 Dating Sites Reviews Editor's Top Pick Sexy Award.

2018

Adult FrindFinder is the recipient of the 2018 Dating Sites Reviews Editor's Top Pick Sexy Award.

2020

Adult FrindFinder is the recipient of the 2020 Dating Sites Reviews Editor's Top Pick Hookup Award.

2022
