To perform this job successfully, an individual must have: * A Bachelor's degree, and preferably an MBA or JD. * At least 10 years of experience in corporate actions, corporate governance, stewardship or in a related legal or investor relations position. * Established relationships with corporate advisors. * Current knowledge of SEC regulations and state laws regarding shareholder meetings. * Familiarity with corporate governance issues and possess an understanding of proxy advisory firms and institutional investors. * Ability to handle numerous client engagements simultaneously and will need to be organized, articulate and able to maintain poise during challenging, high stress events such as mergers and proxy contests. * Ability to manage client deliverables, recommend actions to improve the results of shareholder meetings and will be a trusted advisor of his or her clients. * The role holder will be responsible for developing their book of business where outperformance will be rewarded. * Strong analytical and communications skills - both in writing and orally with senior executives of our clients, outside law firms, investment bankers and institutional investors providing data-driven analytical advice. * Strong leadership and project management skills. * Comfort working in a team environment and leading small teams that service individual clients. * Experience with CRM like Salesforce and using outbound sales enablement tools to generate leads and increase pipeline conversion.
