Job DescriptionAdvanced Behavioral Health is seeking a Psychiatrist for our Westminster, MD office location. Reporting to the Medical Director, the Psychiatrist will provide outpatient services for children and adolescents such as evaluate medical and psychosocial conditions, develop and implement treatment plans including prescription of psychotropic medications, and monitor and evaluate treatment results.
Location: Westminster, MD
Compensation: $225,000 - $300,000 per year
Schedule/Hours: Monday - Friday, 40 hour work week, 8 hour days (flexible with a few late evenings)
Duties and Responsibilities:
Evaluates patients by interviewing patient, family, and other persons; conducting physical examinations; observing behaviors; reviewing medical history and related documents; selecting, administering, and interpreting psychological tests; ordering laboratory tests and evaluating results.
Develops treatment plans by determining nature and extent of cognitive, emotional, developmental, social, and behavioral disorders; establishing treatment goals and methodologies.
Maintains documentation of services including service plans, progress notes, medication informed consent, quarterly treatment plan reviews, and other required information in compliance with agency and third-party compliance standards.
Examine or conduct laboratory or diagnostic tests on patients to provide information on general physical condition or mental disorder.
Assures quality and safe service for patients and staff by enforcing policies, procedures, standards, rules, CARF requirements, and legal regulations; participating in utilization reviews; remaining available for emergency consultations.
Receives medical supervision from Medical Director.
Coordinates care with other prescribers, Therapists and other community providers for effective delivering of clinic service to patients
Document all medical/clinical evaluations, diagnosis, treatment, referrals, education and consultations established by practice in electronic medical/clinical record.
Minimum Qualifications:
Doctorate-of-Medicine with a Residency in Psychiatry.
Current State of Maryland Physician License.
Board certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
Valid DEA and CDS Certification.

Job Description
The ECCP Program Manager-ECCP Replication and Expansion, working in conjunction with the ECCP Management Team, and closely with the ECCP Director, provides leadership for the overall operations of ECCP Replication and Expansion. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Trained in and holds strong working knowledge of the ECCP Program Model.
Maintains familiarity and understanding of contract requirements related ECCP replication/expansion states.
Develop and institute innovative solutions to optimize the operations of the ECCP Program within expansion states. Work closely with the ECCP Management team to identify trends, needs, and solutions. Brings forward any needs for model adaptation based on needs/landscape of replication state.
Provides TA to ECCP Model Fidelity Supervisors in replication/expansion states in accordance with the ECCP Program Model.
Provides TA and guidance to ECCP Model Fidelity Supervisors in replication/expansion states resolving concerns with subcontracted agency partners as indicated, elevating concerns to ECCP Director as indicated.
Maintain and update program materials to reflect state specific adaptations as needed, to reflect current program policies and practices.
Monitors ongoing ECCP workforce and training needs in expansion/replication states, and works closely with ECCP Training Specialist to help inform focus areas related to professional development for the ECCP Program.
Works closely with the ECCP Data Specialist to integrate findings from continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance and optimize program operations in expansion/replication states.
Promptly elevates concerns to ECCP Director related to any contract level and consultant performance concerns, or any other potential issue that may compromise the quality of ECCP service delivery in expansion/replication states.
Identifies potential expansion and growth opportunities for the ECCP program, and alerts ECCP Director of such opportunities.
Demonstrates confidence related to working within evidence based model and able to uphold the significant value of understanding and conveying the role data plays in informing the work of consultation.
Other administrative duties as identified and assigned by the Program Director, which may include representing ABH and ECCP in attendance at and/or participation in Early Childhood Initiatives, trainings and presentations; vetting requests for ECCP expansions, and facilitating public presentations; and other duties as identified to implement and enhance the overall activities related to new or existing components of the ECCP Program;
Maintains confidentiality of all client protected health information and adheres to all HIPPA related to policies and procedures;
Performs other tasks/responsibilities as required to support the business operations;
Demonstrates ethical behavior and cultural sensitivity in all activities involving individuals of diverse backgrounds.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Masters Degree in the field of Mental Health;
Clinical License required;
5 or more years of post-graduate work experience with children in the behavioral health and early education fields, preferably working in the field of early childhood mental health consultation.
Demonstrated knowledge of the principles and practices involved in delivering individual child and classroom/program focused early childhood mental health services;
3-5 years of work experience in the supervision of staff for effective and efficient service delivery preferred;
Experience working within an evidence based service delivery model preferred.
Experience with community engagement and in facilitating effective partnerships across disciplines.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Strong attention to detail; ability to work on multiple tasks and meet deadlines;

* Assist in coordinating grant proposals and foundation responses (including assisting in the writing of grants, coordinating the work of multiple grant writers within JJPI, and working with outside proposal writers) to ensure a solid and ongoing funding base for treatment, prevention, training, and education programs.
* Provide direct administration and oversight of on-site and off-site grant-related programming projects, and other partnerships, and provide reporting formally (in report format) and informally (at meetings/conferences, etc.). Oversee required monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
* Provide administrative oversight for JJPI's data management initiatives, including evaluation capacity building initiatives, and ongoing coordination of partnerships with external partners (e.g., universities, outside research institutions, etc.). Make sure that databases are maintained and contain data that is appropriate for analysis. Oversee compliance of clinicians and other staff with the required data collection process.
* Maintain quarterly programmatic process and outcomes database.
* Work with the IT department to oversee the integration of electronic health records and other outside databases into a cohesive data dashboard.
* Work with the Outreach and Prevention department to oversee interns and provide administrative supervision for staff who are assigned to grant and foundation-funded projects and the intake department.

General Description
Behavioral Health Recovery Coach provides individuals who are diagnosed with mental health, substance use and/or chronic health conditions and are eligible for Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) or Community Oriented Recovery & Empowerment (CORE) Services with recovery-oriented activities and interventions, using a trauma-informed, non-clinical approach. Activities and interventions include individual's recovery goals, including education and vocational objectives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assist individuals with learning adaptive behaviors and responding to or avoiding identified precursors such as cravings or triggers that result in relapse in unhealthy behavior or functional impairments.
Provide training to individual/family on treatment regimen choices including but not limited to: recovery support options; recovery concepts; advocacy; understanding substance use disorder/mental illness or chronical health conditions and treatment; medication education; effects of trauma; psychosocial rehabilitation; habilitation; crisis intervention and related tools and skills including but not limited to Individual Recovery Plans, self-care, emotional validation, communication skills, boundaries, emotional regulation, behavioral relapse prevention, violence prevention and suicide prevention.
When appropriate, assist family members in the acquisition of knowledge and skills necessary to understand and address the specific needs of the individual who is Medicaid eligible in relation to their substance use disorder/mental illness and treatment.
Collaborate with family and caregivers to develop positive interventions to address specific presenting issues and to develop and sustain health and stable relationships to support the individual's recovery.
Assist individuals to develop skills necessary for community living and recovery with ongoing assessment of their functional status and creation of (re)habilitative goals.
Develop and implement behavioral heal and/or health education support groups for individuals with substance use, mental health, or chronic health conditions.
Instruction in self-advocacy skills including activities designed to facilitate individuals' ability to access social service systems (e.g. health care, substance use treatment, employment, vocational rehabilitation, entitlement/benefits, self-help groups, etc.) and other recovery-oriented systems of care.
Assistance with increasing social opportunities and developing social support skills that improve life stressors resulting from the individual's disability and promote health, wellness and recovery.
Assist Individuals with linkage to and system navigation within behavioral health and human services systems to access appropriate care.
Serve as a professional resource and provided leadership within the department and among staff.
Complete educational intakes, observations, and or evaluations to assist clients with developing a plan to start or return to school and education trainings based on participants' interests, abilities, and strengths.
Provide additional one-on-one tutoring and skill development for individuals as needed.
Assist individuals to understand and overcome personal, social, or behavioral problems affecting their educational and employment goals.
Analyze, identify, and address potential barriers such as support needs, transportation options, skill development and others as needed to assist clients in meeting educational and employment goals.
Create service plans that are measurable goals and objectives based on client diagnosis that will specify type, frequency, intensity, and duration of service delivery.
Interact and collaborate with employers, family/friends, Care Coordinator, and Managed Care Organization (MCO) to ensure timely implementation of service plan.
Evaluate educational and/or vocational plans, assist with skill development, financial aid resources, assist with applications and other resources necessary.
Provide support in a variety of educational and employment settings.
Link individuals with education-related community services and accommodations.
Serve as a job coach to assist individuals in gaining skills to be successful in competitive employment.
Participate in training as needed or as assigned by supervisor.
Participate in staff meetings and other department and/or agency activities as required.
