With the work on robust modern control in the early 1980's, there is now a technique (LQG/LTR, Chapter 10) for designing robust multivariable control systems.
In about 1990, DSP based motion control products started allowing sophisticated motion profiling and digital communication via serial networks.
He is sorely missed, but Curt’s values and vision for ACS, dating back to our founding in 1992, continue to serve us and our customers well.
Known by our Founder Curt as the Wonder Boy, Cris joined ACS in 2010 as a draftsman.
