The Role As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for providing engineering inputs integral to both small and large-scale hydro and dam projects. You will lead and mentor teams, support management of production and coordinate delivery of engineering work products often with multi-disciplinary project team members and external stakeholders. You will not only support and help grow the broader engineering team capabilities, but your particular focus will be on continuing the development of our hydropower capabilities and working with key staff in growing the business. You'll also be involved in supporting project management duties, coordinating with internal and external clients as well as assisting with guiding and mentoring other engineers within the team. In this role you will lead teams conducting technical work for feasibility studies, engineering designs, preparation of construction drawings and specifications, and carrying out inspections for rehabilitation projects for dams and hydroelectric facilities. Your particular focus will be design delivery and mentorship, but you will also be involved in the proposal process. Perform other duties as assigned About You To fill the role, we're looking for an applicant to bring forward a good mix of qualifications and previous experiences. Some highlights should include: Minimum of a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in electrical engineering from a recognized university; A post-graduate degree is an asset Minimum of 7-15 years of experience in electrical engineering with demonstrated project management skills (tracking budgets and meeting schedules) Must be registered as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Washington, Oregon, or California, as well as eligible for registration as a professional engineer in other states via comity within three months of starting. The role of the Manufacturing Process Engineer will be responsible for monitoring current manufacturing processes and cost, identification and implementation of process improvements, and supporting daily manufacturing operations needs as assigned. The Manufacturing Process Engineer will work in collaboration to successfully drive cost out of Tri Tool's manufacturing process by reducing lead times, and maintaining acceptable quality levels by working with engineering, production personnel, quality, and equipment and tooling vendors, at a minimum. About You and The Role As a Process Engineer on the Service Tooling & Processes team, you will design, validate, and optimize the workflows that enable Zipline's technicians to maintain the P2 fleet safely, consistently, and efficiently. You'll translate engineering intent into scalable processes, implement lean methodologies, and ensure that service procedures are robust enough for diverse operating environments. This role is highly cross-functional, bridging engineering, maintenance, and operations, so that every maintenance action contributes to safety, reliability, and fleet health. What You'll Do Design, document, and refine standardized maintenance processes, from inspections and servicing to component replacements and complex repairs. Validate processes in the field through pilots and technician feedback, ensuring usability, repeatability, and safety. Collaborate with Hardware Engineering, Reliability, and Tooling teams to align process design with aircraft and service architecture. Apply lean principles, error-proofing mechanisms, and automation opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce variability. Establish process control mechanisms and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Create process documentation, work instructions, and visual aids that enable frontline technicians to execute tasks consistently. What Else You Need to Know The starting cash range for this role is $160,000 - $170,000. Please note that this is a target, starting cash range for a candidate who meets the minimum qualifications for this role. Position Overview: The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for developing, improving, and supporting manufacturing processes in a CNC machining and mechanical assembly environment, primarily for our existing bar gun products.
