About the Role
Our client is seeking a Humanoid Robotics Engineer to design, prototype, and validate locomotion, manipulation, and safety systems for a next‑generation humanoid platform. This is a hands‑on, lab‑centric role where you'll own features end‑to‑end-from simulation and controls algorithms to on‑robot bring‑up, testing, and field deployment.
What You'll Do
Develop whole‑body control, gait generation, balance/recovery, and fall‑safe behaviors
Build sensor fusion pipelines and robust state estimation (IMU, LiDAR, encoders, depth/RGB)
Plan and execute dexterous grasping, tool use, and compliant control with tactile feedback
Architect ROS 2‑based stacks, real‑time nodes, and hardware interfaces (CAN/EtherCAT)
Implement safety monitors, fault detection, and contribute to ISO/ANSI compliance standards
Create high‑fidelity simulations (Gazebo, Isaac Sim, MuJoCo) and validate sim‑to‑real transfer
Collaborate on hardware design (actuators, transmissions, sensors) and rapid prototyping
Document designs, test reports, and maintain traceability across revisions
What We're Looking For
BS/MS/PhD in Robotics, EE, ME, CS, or related field
5+ years hands‑on experience in humanoid robot engineering and prototyping
Strong C++ (14/17) and Python; proficiency with ROS 2 and real‑time systems
Expertise in multibody dynamics, control theory (LQR/MPC/impedance), and state estimation (EKF/UKF)
Experience with EtherCAT/CAN devices, motor control, and safety‑rated I/O
Proven on‑robot bring‑up/debugging in lab environments
Preferred: experience in legged locomotion, dexterous manipulation, tactile sensing, GPU acceleration, ML for control/perception, and safety analysis

Position Overview:
As part of the talented Brunswick Boat Group (BBG) Technology Center team, you will be responsible for the advanced engineering and development of fiberglass, mechanical, electrical, laminate, and structural system designs for the Brunswick Boat Group Technology Center. This will require the use of Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) tools to generate 3D surface models for liners, decks, and small parts and strong competency with complex mechanism development.

Essential Functions:
Generate 3D surface models of decks, liners, and small parts to be utilized for 5-axis milling and tooling design
Serve as the engineering lead during design development
Complete engineering of assigned areas of a boat including fiberglass design, purchased parts and hardware development, mechanical system/hose routing, electrical layout, etc.
Design, engineer, and validate complex hinges and mechanisms for supplier fabrication using 3D models and 2D specification drawings
Support industrial design with space-claim analysis and feasibility studies
Provide accurate material and component specification for the sourcing of new components
Provide cost analysis to industrial design and program management on new concepts prior to engineering start
Work with suppliers on the development of new systems and components to ensure continuous improvement in the quality and value of our boats systems
Ensure that new designs and components meet the cost, performance, and functional requirements of the new and enhancement boat programs
Review and approve engineering drawings and assembly prints for new boat programs
Participate in manufacturing integration activities to ensure successful launches of new products and technologies as well as continuous improvement activities
Ensure that designs have been fully validated and that they meet necessary system specifications and performance requirements
Establish acceptance criteria with program management for new concepts and designs
Utilize warranty data to identify issues related to mechanical systems for mitigation purposes
Provide technical evaluations and reports on issues for customer service and field problems
Ensure compliance with all necessary industry, domestic, and international government regulations
Ensure that all materials used in the manufacture of finished products have been tested and approved for quality and reliability
Ensure timely and adequate completion of all applicable phases of project
Apply relevant voice of the customer and systems engineering input to design in Phase 2

**Position Overview:**
This position is responsible for technical support of the quality program at Teledyne. This position entails metrics tracking and analysis to find and mitigate recurring issues. This position also provides technical support to the quality department and other groups, and supports customer technical needs that relate to quality. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**
+ Analyze quality data from multiple sources (Final Inspection First Pass Yield, MRB data, in-process inspection).
+ Maintain and utilize current data tracking and analysis systems, and propose and implement enhancements to those systems.
+ Maintain reporting of developed quality metrics on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis. To include results of overall efforts and specific mitigation actions.
+ Provide input on potential mitigation strategies for issues identified during data analysis. Examples could include development of more effective training, changes to process or designs, etc.
+ Develop system of tracking MRB cases for similar issues on the same or similar parts to identify trends for which mitigation will have the largest impact.
+ Provide in-line technical support to quality inspection and other areas of the business.
+ Utilize continuous improvement methodologies to drive product/system improvements.
+ Conduct risk assessments to determine priority and level of actions.
+ Generate Internal Corrective Actions as required.
+ Initiate root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions for documentation issues/escapes.
+ Assist investigation teams.
+ Support internal Quality Audit team as a Quality Auditor.
+ Participate on the Health Safety Environment (HSE) Committee
