The Role:
Our teams build and contribute to Fidelity's digital presence. As a Principal Search Engineer on the Search Platform team, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing our search and content discovery platform, supporting millions of customer requests. You will be responsible for implementing and enhancing hybrid search solutions, and leveraging AI/ML techniques to improve search relevance and user experience. Your role will include building, managing, and automating cloud infrastructure to ensure robust, high-performance search capabilities for both internal associates and customers. The Expertise You Have:
Deep expertise in implementing, configuring, and tuning enterprise-grade search solutions using Solr (preferred); experience with OpenSearch is a plus.
Comprehensive knowledge of information retrieval principles, including both classic approaches (such as TF-IDF, BM25) and advanced neural search techniques (like vector embeddings and transformer-based models).
Proficiency in container technologies, especially Kubernetes (AWS EKS preferred) and Docker.
Solid understanding of the software development and delivery lifecycle for large-scale systems.
Ability to design and implement automation and infrastructure solutions using languages such as Python, Groovy, Shell, and NodeJS.
Experience with build tools and package managers (helm, maven, npm, pip, etc.).
Familiarity with observability, monitoring, and logging tools such as Datadog, Splunk, or other OpenTelemetry/APM tools.
Experience troubleshooting and resolving complex CI/CD pipelines, release issues, and multi-component system environments.

Plan, lead, and execute pre-production builds with a long-term vision for scalable, high-volume production.
Collaborate closely with design and engineering teams to ensure products are robust, reliable, and ready for manufacturing.
Consult with suppliers to define product specifications, and partner with the supply chain team to procure required equipment, materials, and parts.
Interface with manufacturing partners throughout the design transfer process to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality products that meet all performance criteria.
Skills you will need to be successful in this role:
B.S. in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering with 2-5 years of experience, or A.S. degree with 3-6 years of experience. Strong candidates with less experience may be considered.
Experience with electromechanical assembly and manufacturing process development.
Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or green manufacturing principles is a plus.
Proficiency in CAD software; SolidWorks preferred.
Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.

Position Summary: The Manufacturing Engineer II, Finishing will be responsible for developing, implementing, and improving a variety of finishing processes at SIG SAUER's firearm facilities. Emphasis will be placed on vibratory, media, robotic abrasive sanding, laser ablating of precision CNC machined components, and machining and assembly of precision firearm components utilizing clearly defined technical drawings and interchangeable parts. In addition, this position will require execution of manufacturing feasibility, quality planning, and corrective action for internal quality concerns.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Plan, design, and implement manufacturing processes for new and existing firearm product designs while providing budgetary estimates for equipment, tools, gages, and production rate.
Use project management techniques to procure tooling and equipment for new products to meet launch timelines and cost targets.
Identify areas for improvement and conduct formal cost savings analysis using established procedures.
Determine problem resolutions and implement improvements to quality and throughput.
Evaluate and improve product designs for manufacturability while applying GD&T and dimensional stack-ups.
Provide production floor support to maintain output and quality for technical systems and manufacturing processes including:

Perform as technical leader for production personnel including setters, operators, and technicians.
