Full-time Description
The Van Driver is responsible for managing transportation services for residents of the facility. The Van Driver will oversee the scheduling and coordination of transportation to medical appointments, outings, and other destinations as needed. This role will ensure the safe and timely transportation of residents while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and facility policies.
Schedule: Full-Time, M-F, 8am - 4:30pm
Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
Coordinate transportation services for residents to medical appointments, therapies, and other off-site activities.
Develop and maintain transportation schedules, taking into account resident needs, staff availability, and vehicle availability.
Communicate transportation arrangements to residents, families, and staff members in a timely and clear manner.
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations governing transportation services for health care facilities.
Maintain accurate records of transportation activities, including trip logs, mileage, and vehicle maintenance records.
Conduct regular inspections of transportation vehicles to ensure they meet safety standards and address any maintenance issues promptly.
Provide excellent customer service to residents and their families, addressing any concerns or special needs related to transportation services.
Serve as a point of contact for residents and staff members regarding transportation inquiries and requests.
Maintain confidentiality and respect resident privacy at all times.
Manage transportation resources efficiently, including vehicles, fuel, and other supplies.
Develop and monitor transportation budgets, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiencies.
Collaborate with facility leadership to assess transportation needs and make recommendations for improvements or enhancements.

Requirements
Job Qualifications:
1 year of previous experience as a van driver or a similar role preferred.
Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards, including those specific to healthcare facilities.
Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient centered approach.
Valid drivers license with a driving record that meets company policy requirements.
Physical Requirements:
Work performed in a medical setting and while operating a vehicle due to the need to transport patients to and from the facility.
Ability to push wheelchairs and assist residents with mobility as needed.
Must be able to sit, stand, bend, reach, talk, hear, stoop, kneel, crouch, stretch, and twist.

Administrative Functions:
• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate and support the agencies' accounts receivable functions under the supervision of the Director of Accounts Receivable.
• Enhance the agencies policies and procedures surrounding the revenue and accounts receivable cycles.
• Train, monitor and update the policies and procedures related to current government regulations for home health and hospice.
• Assist business office manager, office staff and any related department in the development and use of accounting policies and procedures, and establish a rapport in and between departments so that each can realize the importance of accurate reporting procedures.
• Monitor internal controls to assure compliance with established procedures related to revenue and accounts receivable.
• Monitor accounts receivables. Participate in weekly Billing Accountability Meetings and monthly aging reviews. Initiate an action plan and present to the Business Office Manager and Executive Director.
• Expert knowledge on software systems used in the Home Care industry. Ability to train staff on software systems and processes.
• Develop and utilize computer reports and output as required.
• Monitor the workflow process within the system, and alerting appropriate organizational Resources.
• Equipped with positive problem solving mindset.
Personnel Functions:
• Assist in the recruitment and selection of competent business office personnel.
• Review and check competence of the business office work force and make recommendations for adjustments/corrections that may become necessary.
Staff Development:
• Attend and participate in workshops, seminars, etc., to keep abreast of current changes in the home health and hospice field, as well as to maintain a professional status.
• Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and positive emphasis, as well as a calm environment.
Qualifications
• Multiple years of experience in the business office in the Home Health and Hospice fields.
• Experience as an accounts receivable area resource.

Administrative Functions:
• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate and support the agencies' accounts receivable functions under the supervision of the Director of Accounts Receivable.

• Train, monitor and update the policies and procedures related to current government regulations for home health and hospice.

• Monitor internal controls to assure compliance with established procedures related to revenue and accounts receivable.

• Expert knowledge on software systems used in the Home Care industry. Ability to train staff on software systems and processes.
• Develop and utilize computer reports and output as required.
• Monitor the workflow process within the system, and alerting appropriate organizational Resources.
• Equipped with positive problem solving mindset.
Personnel Functions:
• Assist in the recruitment and selection of competent business office personnel.
• Review and check competence of the business office work force and make recommendations for adjustments/corrections that may become necessary.
Staff Development:
• Attend and participate in workshops, seminars, etc., to keep abreast of current changes in the home health and hospice field, as well as to maintain a professional status.
• Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and positive emphasis, as well as a calm environment.
Qualifications

Assists nursing staff in carrying out toileting program activities.
Completes flow sheets daily to indicate that the specified task was done. Documents the progress of each resident as directed by supervisor.
Keeps nurse and supervisor informed of factors that interfere with being able to perform the work as assigned (i.e. resident refusal, reassigned to nursing unit).
Reports changes in a resident's condition to the resident's nurse and supervisor.

Job Summary and Qualifications
As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be part of our friendly and compassionate Ultrasound team. We are proud to provide the "care like family" mission of the hospital. In this role:
You will perform a variety of Ultrasound Procedures and are responsible for exam protocols that provide diagnostic information to the interpreting physician.
You must have a working knowledge of the life-saving techniques and be capable of performing well under pressure.
You will assume the responsibility for specified examinations and will be responsible for introducing the basics of ultrasound to the student technologists.
You will be responsible for assessment, treatment of care appropriate to all ages of patients served.
You will demonstrate your knowledge and skills in obtaining and interpreting information in terms of the patients' needs.
What qualifications you will need:
Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 7 days of employment start date
(RDMS) Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, or (RVT) Registered Vascular Technician, or (RDMS-OB/GYN) RDMS Obstetrics & Gynecology

Requirements:
Valid license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) in the state where work is performed.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with residents, families, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
