Advanced Poly was started by Tony Baker in 1979 as an Engineering company (SEMPAC) specializing in engineering for packaging applications.

1980

Pendant Lighting Systems, founded in 1980, is a Leading Manufacturer of Lighting Suspension Systems serving North America's OEMs with their suspension requirements for the LED Lighting Market.

1987

In 1987 the company name was changed to Advanced Poly-Packaging, Inc. when the company started producing packaging materials (poly bags) and packaging equipment (bagging and other packaging systems).

2014

Advanced Poly first partnered with Service Champ in 2014 when they needed to replace an outdated bagging machine.

2019

In 2019, UniFirst began using the Advanced Poly ST-1000 Shop Towel System, and were favorably impressed:
