Qualifications EDUCATION High school diploma or equivalent. EXPERIENCE Demonstrated technical skills to meet entry level standards of routine sonography. LICENSURE Active, current ARDMS certification. Within six (6) months of hire - Abdomen certification. CPR certification is preferred. (OB) also desirable. CPR certification also preferred. SPECIAL SKILLS Proficient in routine ultrasound imaging techniques, above average knowledge of computer / Pacs applications, good organizational and communication/customer service skills. PHYSICAL DEMAND Must be able to lift (patient transfers) and push 40 lbs (portable US equipment).

Qualifications EDUCATION Required to meet one of the following: AS degree preferred and graduate of an accredited (CAAHEP) School of Diagnostic Sonography., AS degree and graduate of an accredited Allied Health program with an additional requirement of 12 months of full time Diagnostic Medical Sonography instruction., Graduate of Bachelor's program with an additional requirement of 12 months of full time Diagnostic Medical Sonography instruction. EXPERIENCE Demonstrated technical skills to meet entry level standards of routine sonography. LICENSURE ARDMS certification to include Abdomen (AB) within six (6) months of hire is required (ARRT Sonography is also acceptable, but RDMS (Abdomen) AB certification is required to be obtained within six (6) months of hire date). Provide assistance to Perinatologist in gathering data, operate diagnostic ultrasound equipment, and obtain diagnostic quality images on the female pelvic organs, uterus and fetus. Maintains all necessary supplies and equipment for the Antenatal Diagnostic Testing Unit. Responsibilities: 1. Perinatal ultrasounds Criteria A: Maintain full working knowledge of ultrasound techniques and anatomy in obstetrical & gynecological patients. Perinatal ultrasounds Criteria B: Perform initial evaluation of fetal anatomy, biometric measurements and fetal activity. 2. Assist Perinatologist with scanning of patient Criteria A: Explain procedure to patient and significant other.
