Job Summary:
The UltrasoundTechnologist performs diagnostic procedures on patients using ultrasound waves to examine tissue and body structure, providing quality images to radiologists and physicians for interpretation. Performs all aspects of ultrasound procedures including abdominal, pelvic, gynecologic, small parts, Doppler studies and interventional procedures utilizing an understanding of the principles of growth and development to assess each patient's individual age specific needs and to provide individualized age specific treatment and care.
Responsibilities:
Performs ultrasound diagnostic procedures by positioning patients, selecting appropriate transducers and correct scanning sequences to produce an accurate image in order to assist the physician in diagnosis and treatment.
Provides and ensures optimal technical quality and accuracy of all Ultrasound examinations according to the American College of Radiology (ACR) standards & FDA quality control requirements. Assembles sterile trays and assumes scrub duties as necessary.
Accurately inputs data into electronic medical record, RIS and PACS to capture necessary information regarding exams, supply charges, resource allocations, as well as all relevant clinical information. Transfers correctly annotated images into PACS.
Organizes processed images, measurements, calculations and other data in a logical sequence for presentation to the physician for interpretation. Consults with physicians as requested regarding the quality of images and data obtained
Obtains all relevant patient information, and assesses physician's order and/or requisition for completeness by reviewing the clinical information, pertinent laboratory results and patient's chart to ensure the correct procedure is performed and proper patient preparation is administered on the correct patient, to procure an accurate diagnosis.

Provide assistance to Perinatologist in gathering data, operate diagnostic ultrasound equipment, and obtain diagnostic quality images on the female pelvic organs, uterus and fetus. Maintains all necessary supplies and equipment for the Antenatal Diagnostic Testing Unit.
Responsibilities:
1. Perinatal ultrasounds Criteria A: Maintain full working knowledge of ultrasound techniques and anatomy in obstetrical & gynecological patients. Perinatal ultrasounds Criteria B: Perform initial evaluation of fetal anatomy, biometric measurements and fetal activity.
2. Assist Perinatologist with scanning of patient Criteria A: Explain procedure to patient and significant other. Assist Perinatologist with scanning of patient Criteria B: Demonstrate normal anatomy and relay findings to doctor. Job Summary: Responsible for diagnostic cardiac or vascular ultrasound that results in providing the cardiologist with measurements and accurate images of cardiac structures in order for the physician to provide accurate diagnosis. Position Summary:
As a Vascular Sonographer at USA Clinics Group, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality ultrasound examinations focused on the vascular system. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct thorough vascular ultrasound assessments on patients, specifically targeting the lower extremities, while ensuring an exceptional patient experience throughout the process.
Position Details:
This position works at our Fairfield CT, Clinic.
Part-time position; scheduled to work Wednesdays only. (Full-Time training at Yonkers and Bronx clinics)
Vascular registry (RVT, RVS, RPhS) certification required.
Spanish Speaking. Preferred.
Compensation: $40-$48hr based on experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct vascular ultrasound examinations to create detailed reports for physicians to help formulate safe and effective treatment plans
Work collaboratively with physicians to explain the examination results and proposed treatment options to patients
Prepare and maintain examination rooms, including the setup and cleanup of equipment and supplies before and after each patient
Ensure adherence to timelines for ultrasound exams to maintain an efficient patient flow throughout the clinic
Coordinate with administrative and medical staff to guarantee the availability and timely delivery of ultrasound services
Commit to continuous professional development and education to meet the standards set by the organization
Participate in maintaining ultrasound equipment and monitoring inventory for supplies
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervising physician or clinic management
Requirements
Completion of an accredited ultrasound program
Vascular registry (RVT, RVS, RPhS) certification required.
1+ years of experience in vascular scanning
Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care
