This position would be focused as part of a multi-disciplinary team, in our Cardiovascular ICU at our AdventHealth Orlando campus. + Physicians will have responsibility to cover our Cardiovascular ICU unit, including our pos-operative CV surgical ICU and ECMO/Transplant ICU. + Nocturnist opportunity + Collaborate with experienced and established intensivists, surgeons, cardiology and pulmonary transplant medical/care team to help continue to grow and establish a high quality and highly sustainable Cardiovascular, Heart & Lung Transplant Critical Care program. + Our team performs over 35-50 hearts, 15-20 lungs, and 30-50 VAD's per year with multi organ transplant capability. + Our general CV surgical program performs > 4500 heart surgeries a year. + Recognized as a Platinum ECMO Center and considered one of busiest centers in the Unites States + Only ECPR program in Central Florida, run by critical care, including cannulations and management. + Patient mix includes heart and lung transplants, mechanical assist devices, VV/VA ECMO, as well as general cardiovascular surgical procedures. + Robust GME and ACGME programs in Orlando with Medical Students, Residents and Critical Care Fellows and Pulmonary Critical Care Fellows on site + Full Time schedule would consist of 14 shifts per month This employment opportunity with AdventHealth Medical Group Critical Care is a part of our established group of more than 80 physicians and APP's.
