Obstetrics is not required but available. With a new program, there is availability to develop areas that are passionate to you.
Our 15,000+ square foot facility has so much to offer, from Prompt Care, to OB, to Family Medicine. We have a wide range of patients in our growing community and avariety of cases & procedures for the residents to have a great experience in learning and practicing.

The position does require that the physician provide rotations at the East Campus for our fellows.

Job Responsibilities:
* Full time. Split schedule of resident supervision, personal clinical, and administrative time
* Work with Program Director on program accreditation, resident recruitment, rotation scheduling, curriculum development and resident coaching.
* Serve as a member of the program evaluation committee and clinical competency committee.
* Perform additional academic and clinical duties as assigned by the program director
* Demonstrate excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
* Model professionalism for residents, medical students and clinical staff.
* Possess excellent computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office and the EPIC EMR.
Faculty will be responsible for administering and maintaining an educational environment conducive to educating residents in each of the ACGME competency areas. Equivalent educational qualifications may be acceptable by the FM Review Committee of the ACGME.

This new practice will provide needed access to families in the area who are currently traveling long distances for Pediatric Primary Care. The ideal candidate will be/have:
* Active FL medical license (or ability to secure active, unrestricted licensure)
* Board Certification in Pediatrics (or Board Eligibility if less than 3 years out of training)
* Experience with supervising Advanced Practice Providers (APRN and/or PA-C)
* Prior experience with opening and growing a new office
Proficiency with minor office-based procedures including, but not limited to: circumcisions, vaccinations per AAP guidelines, CLIA waived labs
Physician Expectations:
* Shared practice call coverage for evenings and weekends
* Ability to work a set schedule, which may include early morning and/or evening hours to meet patient needs
