Major Responsibilities:
Conducts a physical therapy evaluation of each patient and establishes a plan of care and treatment goals. Interprets physician referrals and completes musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, cardiopulmonary, and/or integument evaluations utilizing appropriate methods. Evaluates outcomes within an appropriate time frame.
Provides on-going assessment of patient response to treatments and teaches and applies interventions as appropriate. Updates and revises plan of care as indicated and provides physician with status report on a regular basis.
Communicates problems to physicians and management and clearly states plans, actions and goals so changes are reflected as they occur. Completes a plan of care as indicated and provides physician with status report. Maintains and updates clinical and patient records according to state and federal guidelines.
Manages assigned caseload including scheduling and informing site leadership of coverage needs and ability to provide coverage. Manages patient's medical condition including medications. Acts as a patient advocate to insure optimal outcomes. Manages assigned caseload for optimal functional and financial outcomes; reviews caseload for Low Utilization Payment Adjustments (LUPA), optimal number of visits based on progress, Prospective Payment Plan (PPS), and Outcome Based Quality Initiatives (OBQI) outcomes.
May manage a caseload of Physical Therapist Assistants (PTA) including evaluating their patients, insuring compliance with established Care Plan, and adhering to all State of Wisconsin regulations regarding PTA supervision.
Performs Home Health Aide joint visits as appropriate to maximize patient's functional abilities in the home. May assist with evaluating patients, turning patient over to PTA and informing PTA of Plan of Care (POC) per State of Wisconsin regulations. Teaches appropriate treatment procedures and supportive activities to patients and caregivers and develops plan for obtaining adaptive devices as needed.
Discusses caseload issues and changes in case census with management. Communicates problems to physicians and management, and clearly states plans, actions and goals so changes are reflected as they occur.
Participates in chart audits and continuous quality improvement activities. Facilitates discharge planning process and utilizes interagency/system and community resources to assure continuity of care after discharge.
Acts as a resource to employees, which includes training/orienting, mentoring, and providing guidance on more complex issues. Serves as an instructor for students, meeting all expectations of the Clinical Student Program.
Performs various patient positioning and transporting duties, which require lifting and pushing/pulling, while utilizing proper technique.
Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served. Must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs, and to provide the care needed as described in the department's policies and procedures. Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:
Physical Therapy License in the State of Illinois or State of Wisconsin, must be licensed in the State upon which you work.
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers (obtained within 90 days unless department leader has determined is not required) by American Heart Association (AHA)
A valid drivers license issued by the Division of Motor Vehicles.
Education/Experience Required:
Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school or educational requirements commensurate with the date of graduation. Maintains continuing education requirements as mandated by applicable state professional standards.

Major Responsibilities:
Competently performs basic to intermediate nuclear medicine diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including general and cardiac.
Reviews patient's medical record to obtain necessary clinical information including patient history, lab results, and physician orders, obtains medical history from patients, and compares requisitions to physicians' orders to ensure exam accuracy.
Prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals and procedural adjunctive medication by proper route per clinician prescription and according to approved exam parameters. Follows correct procedures for handling radioactive materials. Understands and implements ALARA measures. Maintains accurate records of pharmaceutical doses.

Purpose
Under the direction of School of Medicine leadership - and with independence and minimal supervision - this position develops and manages the implementation of comprehensive executive and internal communications strategies, campaigns, plans, programs, projects and deliverables to address complex issues and achieve MCW's goals and priorities. The Senior Communications Consultant plans, organizes, writes, edits, produces and distributes a variety of highly confidential and complex executive communications which may be disseminated/presented internally and/or externally. This role also connects community and partner stakeholders with MCW's mission and accomplishments through a variety of communications initiatives. This role works directly with Dean of the School of Medicine in partnership with other executive leaders (President and CEO, Provost and Executive Vice President, Executive Vice Presidents, Senior Vice Presidents, Vice Presidents); faculty leaders (Department Chairs, Senior Associate Deans, Center/Institute Directors), members of the Office of Communications, Office of Development and Finance team, as well as MCW departments, regional campuses, institutes and centers in supporting the MCW brand and providing communications support and expertise. As assigned, this person also serves as a communications liaison to internal and external partners, stakeholders and vendors. Primary Functions
Provides direct support to the Dean of the School of Medicine to communicate complex, engaging and sensitive communications utilizing excellence in strategic communication plan development, long and short form writing, script writing, editing, leadership voice, PowerPoint presentations, and project coordination.
Independently develops and manages communications channels and programs for targeted audiences and purposes. Develops and manages the implementation of communication strategies, campaigns and plans to address complex issues.

Under general supervision provide support for department research through projects, maintenance and communication of data, and execution of laboratory experiments.
Primary Functions Carry out experimental designs for research projects and perform routine experiments. Record and compile accurate records and communicate summaries of experimental results. Assist with the evaluation, interpretation and assessment of experimental data and quality control of assays. Participate in meetings with principal investigator and research staff and evaluate/interpret the validity of data. Carry out assigned duties for ordering and maintaining supply of inventories. In the role of a Postdoctoral Researcher you will be working in Cell Biology, Neurobiology and Anatomy.
Purpose
Post-doctoral position is available in the Department of Cell Biology focused on chemical synthesis of probe compounds targeting G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs). Our lab is a highly-creative and and dynamic Drug Discovery lab involved in cutting-edge technologies collaborating internationally on projects with other labs. We specialize in GPCR signaling and structural determinants of biased agonism to design and screen compounds as potential drugs at various GPCR signaling pathways aimed at treating depression, pain, cancer, and various other diseases.
This post-doctoral position will synthesize various chemical probes that are designed to have selectivity or unique signaling properties at various GPCR targets. Projects will involve chemical synthesis of analog libraries of various chemotypes, scale-up for in vivo studies, and using structure-based and virtual screening to identify new chemotypes. Post-docs will be expected to synthesize compounds for several projects, publish and collaborate on high-impact discoveries from the lab and have the opportunity to develop their own project goals.
We welcome highly-motivated and well-organzied candidates capable of independent work in a laboratory setting. Candidates should have strong interests in medicinal chemistry and/or pharmacology, demonstrate strong track records in chemical and organic synthesis, with expertise in small molecule synthetic routes and analytical purification and separation techniques.
Primary Functions
Synthesize small molecular chemical probes and analogs
Perform advanced small molecule purification and analytical techniques using NMR and Mass Spectrometry, and HPLC chiral separation.

Participate in international collaborations and communication with the principal investigators and fellow scientists when needed for projects.
