Advocate Health Care Company History Timeline
Created by the influence of two long-standing, faith-based health care systems in 1995, Advocate has become one of metropolitan Chicago's largest health care systems.
Advocate Health Network, LLC is a physician-led organization that formed in July 2015 with St Joseph’s/Candler Health System as sole member.
Advocate Health Network began operating a Medicare Shared Savings Program (MSSP) ACO in January 2017.
In 2018, Advocate Health Care merged with Aurora Health Care of Wisconsin to form Advocate Aurora Health, one of the top 12 not-for-profit health systems in the country.
