How You Will Make a Difference
Therapists are responsible for providing individual and group therapy sessions for clients in a specialized intensive outpatient treatment setting. Position is responsible for assessing the therapeutic needs of the individuals and families, and for developing appropriate treatment plans. Program Therapists act as the primary contact for clients and families throughout the treatment process and serve as a client advocate with the treatment team. Position acts as a liaison with referral sources, clinical partners, and internal resources to coordinate care throughout the treatment process.

Assists in identification of treatment/contract goals, completing the initial psychosocial assessment.

What We're Seeking

The Member Advocate is a customer-service focused position that will support local service areas. This role

Position Overview: The Child Welfare Advocate (CPI) Serves as a consultant for child welfare staff and community partners to enhance survivor and child safety while holding batterers accountable in domestic violence cases. The Domestic Violence Child Welfare Advocate will be co-located with a Department of Children and Families (DCF) Child Protective Investigations (CPI) Unit that oversees Orange County child welfare cases.
Key Responsibilities:
Works to make contact, build rapport, and work directly with CPI staff in assessing domestic violence cases to determine areas of need, set goals, and when appropriate develop service management plans.
Provides referrals with community service providers to facilitate accomplishment of service management plan.
Conducts follow-up meetings with CPI staff to assess progress toward completion of goals and identify areas requiring further assistance.

Qualifications:
Education: Minimum of an undergraduate degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field is required.

Discretion: Professional experience may be substituted for formal education at the discretion of the Chief Executive Officer.

GENERAL SUMMARY
To provide discharge planning, activities, and service coordination for inpatient clients.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Provides discharge-planning activities for clients to include assessment of strengths and needs, services planning, linking services to clients, and client advocacy.
Discharge planning activities are performed in accordance with Agency standards.
Discharge planning activities are reflective of the services specified as being needed in the written treatment plan.
Discharge planning activities are conducted in a professional and collaborative manner and encourage cooperation inter and intra-agency.
Participates with team members in daily program activities.
Attends and participates in daily treatment team meetings.
Appropriately utilizes Therapeutic Effective Aggression Management (CPI/CARE) to re-direct and prompt clients to safe and appropriate behavior.
Consistently assists the Addiction Professional and/or Program Manager in a positive manner; develops teamwork in following and practicing the policies and procedures of the Agency.
Provides direction as necessary; always leads by professional example.
Coordinates discharge planning and appropriate aftercare services for assigned clients.
Discharge plan and aftercare services are documented in writing in accordance with Agency protocol including, but not limited to, documenting external referral sources contacted and outcome; internal referral sources contacted and outcome.
May assist in arranging/facilitating transportation which includes but is not limited to picking up bus/train/plane/transport tickets and/or documentation when necessary. Utilizes tracking mechanism for use of incidental funds for transportation.
Administrative assistance to the Program Manager, with maintenance of documentation of the clients identified as high utilizers. Maintains documentation for this population within the portal managed by the Managing Entity.
Manages outcomes and unit reports as directed by the Program Manager.
Prepares written documentation for each service conducted.
Written documentation for each service conducted is performed in accordance with the Agency's standards for service documentation in the client's medical record.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Miscellaneous duties are performed according to instruction.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
AS/AA plus 2 years' experience or a Bachelor's degree in a Human Services field preferred. Must have a valid Florida driver's license with 6 points or less in the last 5 years. Job Summary:
Acuity is looking for a Behavioral Health Specialist to support our contract in the Republic of the Marshall Islands.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides medical services at the scope and level of a Behavior Health Specialist to preserve the health of employees and client personnel.
Educates the workforce about mood disorders, such as depression and anxiety.
Counsels clients/patients with personal, behavioral or psychological problems.
Provide tools for managing marital and family issues from OCONUS work sites.
Preventive care such as Education program, employee assistance and coaching to help those at-risk remain healthy and productive.
Work with allied providers, employees and families to provide care coordination and intensive or targeted care management to ensure that the supported workforce receives the most appropriate and most effective treatment.
Collects and records psychosocial and physical data and assists with care and treatment of behavioral or psychological problems.

Serves as technical advisor for planning and presenting behavioral health programs.
Attends and participates in a variety of meetings and task force groups to improve quality and outcomes, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain specific level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, new task efforts, and new policy requirement.
Records and maintains patient information in accordance with standard protocols, and the Privacy Act.
Thoroughly exercises skills in initiative, judgment, problem-solving and decision-making daily.
Demonstrates proven success in stressful environments.
Pursues professional development activities and continuing education to ensure currency with present practices and trends in healthcare and specifically in the practice of emergency medical treatment.
Protects patients' privacy through confidentiality, infection control procedures, assuring consistent medication administration, and assuring proper storage and maintenance procedures for all equipment and supplies.
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
5 years minimum recent experience delivering behavioral health services.
Master's degree from an accredited school in professional counseling/psychology or related field.
Hold and maintain an active and unrestricted License and the ability to be favorability credentialed by Acuity policy.
Must be current in all required certifications.
Specialty and/or experience in trauma (PTSD, Acute Traumatic Stress).
Experience with Military and/or Law Enforcement personnel and/or experience serving as or working as a Military Mental Health Specialist.
Experience with Employee Assistance Program (EAP) type issues.
Have extensive experience with varied treatment modalities (i.e., visualization, EFT, yoga, EMDR, etc…) and incorporate that in behavioral health care practices.
Must be able to multi-task, be detail-oriented, be organized, and have excellent verbal and communication skills.
Ability to adapt to sudden changes and flexibility in work requirements to include potential shift changes based on operational needs and/or command priorities.
Ability to work well with senior management and across functions to achieve business objectives.
Proficient in Microsoft applications, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Requires a favorable security background check and drug screen.
Shall demonstrate proficiency in the use of basic word processing programs and the Acuity Medical Management Systems software.
All health care providers and medical support staff must have recent clinical experience in patient care for at least 6 months out of the past year.
Must have a valid, current U.S. Driver's License.
Must have a valid U.S. Passport with no less than 6 months remaining before expiration.
Shall be proficient in the ability to speak, write, and communicate in English.
Requires a favorably adjudicated CNACI investigation conducted by the Department of Defense.
