Responsibilities:
As a Hospice Clinical Social Worker, you will:
Assist the core members of the pre-hospice/hospice team in understanding significant social, spiritual, and emotional factors related to the patient's health, to establish a plan of care which fosters the personal worth, spiritual well-being, and dignity of each patient.
Participate as a member of the interdisciplinary team and in the development and review of the plan of care for all patients.
Assess the social, spiritual, and emotional needs/factors in order to estimate the patient's and involved caregiver's capacity and potential to cope with the problems of daily living and with the terminal diagnosis and illness.
Prepare the patient to cope with the changes and the chosen family to support the patient including education on advance directives/advanced care planning
Utilize all available resources, such as chosen family, hospice, and community agencies, to assist the patient and chosen family to live better within the limitations of the illness
Support the bereavement program
Provide discharge planning related to change of level-of-care or community placement/location-of-care
Required Certifications and Licensures:
Licensed to practice as a clinical social worker in the state of agency operation if required
Must be a licensed driver who can travel to all business locations

The Shelter and Housing Advocate provides direct, individualized support services and advocacy to survivors of domestic violence via a crisis hotline and to residents in the YWCA's Support Shelter and Housing Program. This position promotes and models empowerment and trauma-informed care to survivors of domestic violence through engaging in and developing trusting relationships, proactively offering support, and providing relevant services to shelter residents and callers. This work is done on-site in resident units and at YWCA offices, utilizing a strengths-based and voluntary model of services. Shelter and Housing Advocates support the daily living, health and safety standards, and the overall function of the support shelter in compliance with the relevant policies, procedures, laws, and best practices. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Community Assisted Response & Engagement (CARE) is hiring Community Crisis Responder II's as part of the expansion of the Community Crisis Response (CCR) Unit. These positions will be responsible for being the first-line responder as a part of a team with other CCR team members and will report to a Community Crisis Responder Supervisor.
CARE manages Seattle's 9-1-1 emergency and non-emergency response, working with other Public Safety Departments, including Seattle Police and Seattle Fire, to ensure a safe and healthy community. CARE expands the city's ability to enhance public safety through Dual Dispatch, which provides additional mental health professionals to respond to people experiencing non-violent mental health crises or quality of life concerns.
Seattle 9-1-1 processes more than 900,000 telephone calls for service annually, the majority of which result in the dispatch of police, fire, rescue, and Community Crisis Responders. The CCR Units operate on shifts to ensure citywide coverage seven days a week. Community Crisis Responders will be scheduled for 40 hours a week with the potential for overtime.

Community Assisted Response & Engagement (CARE) is hiring Community Crisis Responder I's as part of the expansion of the Community Crisis Response (CCR) Unit. These positions will be responsible for being the first-line responder as a part of a team with other CCR team members and will report to a Community Crisis Responder Supervisor.
CARE manages Seattle's 9-1-1 emergency and non-emergency response, working with other Public Safety Departments, including Seattle Police and Seattle Fire, to ensure a safe and healthy community. CARE expands the city's ability to enhance public safety through Dual Dispatch, which provides additional mental health professionals to respond to people experiencing non-violent mental health crises or quality of life concerns.
Seattle 9-1-1 processes more than 900,000 telephone calls for service annually, the majority of which result in the dispatch of police, fire, rescue, and Community Crisis Responders.
The CCR Units operate on shifts to ensure citywide coverage seven days a week. Community Crisis Responders will be scheduled for 40 hours a week with the potential for overtime.
* Provide rapid response and crisis intervention to individuals who have come to the attention of Seattle 9-1-1.
* Assess individuals to rapidly identify urgent needs related to substance use disorder, mental illness, environmental threats, and personal safety to determine best course for care or to recommend ongoing case management (medical care, substance use treatment, therapeutic support, etc.)

About the Opportunity
As a Behavior Specialist at CSD, you'll play a key role in supporting children with autism. Using strategies backed by science (called Applied Behavior Analysis, or ABA), you'll help kids build important life skills-like communication, social interaction, and daily routines-in their homes, at our centers, or in community settings.
You'll follow a personalized plan created by our clinical team and bring energy, compassion, and structure to each session. Whether you're playing games, guiding through tasks, or celebrating a small win, your support helps children grow in big ways.
This is a flexible, on-the-go role perfect for someone who's passionate about making a difference and thrives in dynamic environments. Training is provided, and you'll always have support from our experienced clinical leaders.
Duties & Responsibilities
Conducts 100% of scheduled sessions, unless time-off has been granted or the parents of the client have communicated to the clinical team that they would not like for the hours to be provided.
Primarily responsible for conducting subbing sessions for other clients to sustain the productivity margin if a session is cancelled by the family. Subbing sessions will fall on Saturdays and within the employee's availability.
Additional hours or sessions may be assigned by the Regional leadership within employee's availability.
Implements individualized treatment goals and Behavioral Intervention Plans in response to the direction provided by the Clinical Director and Senior Clinical Leader/Clinical Leader and/or other clinical staff in order to improve the behavior and skill acquisition of clients diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Travels to Center, Home, and other community settings to deliver services.
Subbing sessions will primarily take place in the regional centers
Renders completed sessions daily and writes thorough notes
Communicates schedule changes and cancellations to clinical team immediately.
Participates in regular meetings and promptly communicates with Clinical Leaders/Clinical Directors via email and phone, regarding Treatment Plans and Behavioral Intervention Plans, family concerns and questions.
Fulfills the timely completion of necessary clinical documentation and communication of:
Daily Treatment Session Notes
Daily Treatment Target Data
Daily (If applicable) Behavior Data.
Keeps updated with other site-related documents and current clinical reports for each child served.
Remains current regarding new research, current trends and developments in special education and related fields.
Attends staff meetings, in-services, trainings, and other meetings as requested.

Child Life Specialist (70% FTE, DAYS)

**Child Life Specialist - HMC** Under general supervision from the nursing team, a Child Life Specialist works with patients, families, and a multidisciplinary team to facilitate age-appropriate interactions, increase effective patient/family coping, promote optimal development of hospitalized children and the children of hospitalized adults. Collaborates with other disciplines as appropriate to coordinate continuity of patient care from admission to discharge. A child life specialist will also work across the hospital setting to consult with staff working with pediatric patients to enhance the pediatric experience of care at Harborview.
Under general direction, this position provides Child Life Services to inpatients using specialized skills, including assessment, treatment program planning and implementation, as prescribed by a physician and related documentation. This position will assist with pediatric program development and outreach. This position will also provide consultative support to staff in the ED and outpatient clinics as able.
**Responsibilities** :
Demonstrate working knowledge of disease process, precautions, typical medical treatment and diagnostic procedures, functional abilities, complications, and implications of long-term deficits related to primary diagnoses. Demonstrates advanced knowledge of the developmental stages and their effects on hospitalizations. Demonstrate proficiency in the evaluation and assessments of patients ages 0-18 years (and adults with developmental delays placing them at a developmental age between 0-18) with a variety of complex and multiple medical issues. Create care plans based on admit diagnosis and medical issues impacting stay, assessment of the child's current developmental stage, temperament, coping style, culture, spirituality, potential stressors, patient and family needs, and social supports. Provide a diverse, well-rounded, goal directed treatment program to meet patient's psychosocial and developmental needs. Demonstrates competence in providing developmental, educational, and therapeutic interventions for children, adolescents, and their families under stress of hospitalization, illness, death and/or loss. Serves as a resource to other disciplines in the developmental needs of pediatric and adolescent populations; attends patient care rounds including pediatric and burn rounds regularly. Documents evaluation, intervention, strategies for treatment and recommendations for other team members in online medical records. Communicate interventions to care team members with emphasis on goals, progress, and discharge planning. Participates in selected department activities/projects to promote delivery of quality care to the pediatric population. Provides education and training to other care team members. Monitors supplies and requests supplies when needed. Maintains professional growth and development through conferences, seminars, and professional affiliations as appropriate. Assists with training of volunteers. Provides objective feedback on peer evaluations Practices UW Service Culture Guidelines. Contributes to the efficient operation of clinic and/or workgroup. Helps create a positive work environment by demonstrating teamwork, flexibility, and service-oriented communication with patients and co-workers.
