Acts as a liaison between health services and the consumer to provide education on costs, funding possibilities and payment options. Angeline's is a Day Center for homeless women serving 75 women daily based on a harm reduction, housing first model. The goal of the Day Center is to build trusting relationships to move women out of homelessness. The Crisis Advocate will provide supportive services that help participants identify strengths, assess their needs and develop action plans to encourage stabilization.

The Qualifications
Experience:
5+ years of commercial Property & Casualty experience in a client-facing role.
Expertise in public sector risk programs, such as education-specific clients (schools, municipalities, higher education institutions, charter networks, state agencies, and special districts) and/or government contractor clients.
Strong understanding of governmental risk exposures (public safety, transportation fleets, utilities, parks & recreation, public facilities, emergency services).
Experience managing large, multi-location property schedules (schools, municipal buildings, infrastructure assets).
Technical Knowledge:
Strong understanding of coverage forms for program design, gap analysis, and ongoing consultation.
Ability to interpret underwriting submissions, exposure schedules, loss runs, COPE data, and actuarial evaluations.
Knowledge of public sector procurement processes (RFPs, competitive bidding, compliance requirements).
Familiarity with public entity pooling (risk-sharing pools, captives, self-insured structures).
In-depth knowledge of public sector policies and endorsements across relevant lines (property, liability, auto, law enforcement, cyber, crime/fidelity).
Analytical & Presentation Skills:
Ability to interpret, analyze, and present analytical models.
Comfort presenting to public boards, councils, and committees, including program updates and renewal strategies.

Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
The Behavioral Health Specialist (BHS) manages and maintains the safety of the individuals and staff. Takes vitals and assists individuals in meeting their needs while on the unit by providing exceptional customer service. Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:

* Coach and train school staff regarding effective practices for behavior support..
* Meet with District administration to produce district level support and products for successful behavior support implementation within the schools.
* Present periodic reports to District administration on the ongoing successes and barriers to behavior support implementation.
* Maintain open and ongoing communication with district and building discipline teams.
* Provide staff development to support successful implementation of effective behavior supports.
* Provide training and technical support for PBIS and SWIS.
* Promote effective behavior support strategies within the District through various modes (school board meetings, newsletter, website).
* Work collaboratively with school level Student Support Teams, Behavior Specialists, and coordinators.
* Act as a liaison between school teams and the school district administration.
* Maintain ongoing contact with each building Student Support Team.
* Attend building team behavior support meetings to assist with implementation as needed.
* Connect teams to necessary resources for successful implementation of effective behavior support strategies.
* Coordinate needed data collection (SETS, Team Checklist, EBS Survey, SWIS).
* Assist team in developing, implementing and evaluating Action Plans using a variety of data sources.
* Serve as a resource and support to school teams in planning supports for students with behavior challenges.
* Required to follow Board policies and stay abreast of updates and changes.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
Part IV: Minimum Qualifications:
* A minimum of five years of successful experience in planning and delivering behavioral interventions for school-based youth with significant behavioral challenges.
* Valid Washington Teaching Certificate or ESA.
* Master's Degree in education, behavior, counseling, psychology or related field and a minimum of three years experience in related field.
* Must have a valid Washington State driver's license and automobile for on the job use.
* Must be knowledgeable regarding Positive Behavioral Intervention Support.
